"Christian?" I called. My voice echoed throughout the house. I rubbed my chest, remembering something Christian had told me he learned on the set of batman begins about it getting you warm faster or something. I looked on every room as I passed by hoping to find my absentee boyfriend. "Christian!" I called again. I finally spotted him in his office, staring out at the city from his window. I smiled as he turned towards me. a small smile pulled on his lips as he saw me in the doorway.

"Hi." He said and I shook my head with a smile.

"Hi yourself. You do know that you need to be downstairs at your Christmas party right? I'm freezing my butt off down there for one and two in all alone in a room full of people. You know how I am around people. I hate it." I said. Christian smiled even wider and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah I know but I had to get away for a bit." He said as he turned his gaze back to the city. I made my way over to him and wrapped my arms around him. I sighed with content as I took in the warmth that radiated off of him. Christian moved his arm so I was completely surrounded by his warmth. His smell filled my nose and I smiled up at him. "I'm sorry sweetie. I'll make it up to you somehow." He whispered as he kissed my temple.

"Yeah well you better mister. Now come on downstairs and keep me company." I said as I took his hand and started to tug him away from the window. His laughter filled the room.

"Take it easy honey. The party ain't going no where and neither am I." Christian said as he pulled me into his chest. I gazed up at him and blushed. "Oh and by the way...." He was leaning down towards me with his finger pointing upward. "Merry Christmas." He whispered as his lips touched mine under the mistletoe.
