Chapter 50

Leo was in the limo with Raph as they were holding hands. " Raph I can stay..."
" No... I got this." Raph then grabbed his cane as he was about to open the door to get out of the limo but Leo grabbed his wrist and kissed Raph for a few seconds. " no matter what happens I will always love you..."
" I will always love you too... I will message you once I'm awake." Raph then got out then went over to the entrance walking in as Leo leaned to the seat he was in while he then saw Usagi walking to the door as Leo looked at the driver. " Let's go..."

A few hours have passed as Leo was getting driven to the hospital to check on Raph as he never got any messages since he was told by Raph that it should only take an hour of surgery. So once he was there he got out and walked a little fast in as he went to the front desk. " Excuse me I'm looking for Raphael Oroku's room."
The nurse looked thru the computers as she said looking at him. " I'm sorry but he is still in surgery. "
" What? But I was told he was only going to be in surgery for an hour..." Leo said not wanting to hear this as she said making him more worried. " If he is in longer then something probably went wrong and they are trying to fix it...you can wait in his room which is the 4th floor in room 15."
" Thank you..." Leo then went to the elevator as he felt his chest get heavy as he got a hand to his chest. ' Is this how Raph felt when I was about to go to surgery?'
The doors opened to the second floor as Leo saw Usagi walk in as he noticed him. " Leo? Your boyfriend in the surgery?"
Leo nods as he lets his chest go. " Yeah... You looking busy."
" Not really... I'm actually going to be Raph's therapists if he leg does not go well..." Leo felt not too happy to hear that as he said. " I trust you will still treat him right..."
" I won't hurt him, Leo. He is patient and that is all." Usagi said looking to Leo as they looked to each other as Leo's cheeks started to get pink as he then broke their eye contacted. then the fourth floor was opened as Leo walked in and to the room, Raph was going to be in as Leo walked in and saw it empty as his hands clenched the door handle.
So Leo closed the door and went to sit on the couch by the window as he sat there then waiting.

Leo was on the couch as the doors where opening but Leo was sleeping as he sat up rubbing his eyes as he went fast to see Raph as he looked okay while he then saw the doctor as he went over and asked. " You did Oroku's surgery?"
" Yes." the doctor said as Leo asked. " how did it go?"
The doctor hesitated as he said to Leo rubbing his neck's back. " it was going smoothly until we had to cut thru his nerves... He almost lost a lot of blood but we had to cut the nerves that were also connected to his another leg as well."
Leo felt his chest get really heavy as he felt his hand's clinch. " Will he walk?"
He hesitated again as he let his neck go. " We don't know... Not until he wakes up... But if he can't move his right leg... Then his left leg won't move either."
Leo stood there and lowered his head slowly. " Thank you, doctor..."
Leo then went to Raph as he grabbed his hand as he his hands shook. " This is my fault... I should have not uncharged you Raph..."
Leo sat there looking down crying in silence as he then heard Raph grunt as Leo looked at Raph and stood up walking over to him. Raph opened his eyes grabbing his head. " How long was I in there?"
" F-Five hours," Leo said trying not to break out crying in front of Raph but he looked to Leo as he saw that he was crying. " What's wrong? Did the surgery go wrong?"
Raph then got on his elbows and looked at his legs making sure he didn't lose them as Leo said as Raph's eyes widened. " They had to cut the nerve that makes both your legs move... You might not movie both legs... Raph I'm so -"
" It's okay..." Leo looked to Raph as he laid back in his bed looking at the ceiling. " I knew this might happen. I just didn't tell you the whole truth."
" Why did you not tell me you might lose both legs!" Leo asked mad as Raph looked at him and put on a smile. " Because I needed you to motivate me to go thru with it just in case I was able to walk without the cane..."
Leo looks to Raph as he was keeping his smile. " You should be mad at me!"
" No, it was me that laid there would be no point in getting mad at you when I was the one that you should be mad at."
" I am mad! You could have told me the truth!" Leo yelled as he then placed his head on Raph's chest. " Please say you can feel your legs... Please..."
Raph pet Leo's head as he said calmly keeping Leo close to him as Raph closed his eyes. " No."
