Chapter 24

    While they stayed in the hospital Leo was laying down resting a little more as Raph was leaning by the bed checking the channels not finding anything good on. Raph looked to Leo then as the nurses took the breathing machine from Leo a while ago meaning he was about to breathe on his own again.
    But Raph still felt unease seeing Leo in a hospital bed while he then closed his eyes and leaned his head close to Leo's hand as Leo's right hand was on his chest.
    Raph closed his eyes leaving the tv on not sure what to do than just worry till he then heard Leo move a little and opened his eyes looked at Raph. " tired?"
    Raph nods his head as Leo scooted to his right a little more and pat by him. Raph looked at the spot next to Leo and sat up getting in the bed to his right side as he got Leo in his arms as Leo placed a hand to Raph's side and closed his eyes as Raph did the same. But once hearing Raph asleep Leo opened his eyes and looked to Raph as he watched him sleep. " I will be with you...  Always..."
    Then Leo closed his eyes to then open them again as he opened his eyes hearing his door open as he looked at the doctor standing there while Leo said panicking as Raph stayed perfectly to sleep. " This isn't what it looks like he... I... Uh..."
    " It's okay Mr. Hamato... But I came to tell you about your status on the virus. " the doctor said as Leo stopped panicking and looked to the doctor seeing him with not a to happy look. " When you arrived here you said you where in the middle of the second stage correct?"
   "Yes..." Leo said looking as his heart rate was starting to speed up. " it seems that you're actually speeding thru the second's stage... From the blood, you last coughed up... You have possible a month or two if lucky... So you could get into a coma in a few days... I'm sorry."
    Leo looked away and to Raph's chest as he said to the doctor and said as he sounded sad. " Alright... Thank you, doctor..."
    Once the doctor walked out of the room and Leo's body shook and closed his eyes pressing his know crying silent face to Raph's chest as Leo for once about this whole thing was feeling finely scared.

    When the next day happened Leo was getting out of the hospital as he watched Raph walking by him while Leo was in a wheelchair heading to a taxi that Raph called. Leo looked down as he could not tell Raph about what was told by the doctor as he felt Raph would get mad and Leo didn't be to see him like that.
    Leo wanted to see Raph smiling and happy being with him. But Leo knows they had to leave Japan today as they got in the taxi and was heading to the house. " So what should we do when we get back? Watch a movie? Or go back to that spa?"
    Leo looked down till he then looked to Raph not smiling as Raph lost his smile fast. " We should head back home..."
    " What why?" Raph asked as Leo grabbed his own arm and kept his face from looking at Raph's. " Because I just want to go back..."
   " No, we went thru this your here to relax -"
    " I can't Raph! I need to get back to my family okay!" Leo yelled closing his eyes still not looking straight to Raph as that surprised him.
   When they got back Leo went instantly out of the taxi and to the house as he tried to get the door opened as Raph paid the taxi and ran to Leo's shoulders as the taxi man left. " Leo calm down you just got out of the hospital..."
    Raph then unlocked the door as Leo want in and to the couch holding the headrest part with his back facing Raph. " I need to get home... I need to see my family Raph..."
    " What's going on? Your acting like your going to die any second." Raph came over to Leo as Leo walked away and turned to Raph. " I'm not... I just want to see my family okay... Is that a crime?"
    " No... But your acting like you hate me or want to not be alone with me all of a sudden as well why?" Raph asked as Leo grabbed his shirt and yelled looking down. " there are more important things here than you Raph!"
    Raph felt hurt when Leo said that as his face for mad and yelled back not thinking before he spoke. " Yeah, I know! I'm always the one that's not important since everyone sees me as no one other than an Oroku that is a traitor!"
    Raph then turned and went to the door opening it as Leo widened his eyes. " Where are you going?"
    " Away from you!" Raph yelled as he then slammed the door closed as Leo watched looking at the door feeling like he just made things worse for the two. Leo went to the couch and sat down as he placed his hands to his face as he looked to where he saw the stain from coughing out the blood as Raph was with him all the time to comfort Leo like he was the world. " I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
