Xyphen's POV

I feel so incomplete. It's like...there's something missing. Every time I'm sad, these words keep repeating; "Don't worry..don't be scared...Daddy's here...don't cry...".

I don't know what's the conmect, but I feel like...there's a lot more about me that I need to find...though....I don't know how...

Bebe's POV

"Come on...say daddy!! I know you can say it!!!" I heard Charlie say to Xyphen.

"You do know that the baby's just a month old and it can't talk nor open its eyes?" I asked with a grin

"I know...I just want daddy to be his first words!" He replied as the door knocked "Well, that's my cue to go to work!"

"Charlie...it's just mom and dad...don't worry.." I said while fixing his collars.

"You know how they are when I'm around.." he said with sadness as he opened the door, let my parents in, greeted them and left.

"Here you are, left by your "lover"" my mom said insulting Charlie "I don't even know why you married him! He's just gonna leave you!!"

"Ugh! Will you please stop?!?!" I asked angrily "He's already doing his best, letting you in his home and you insult him as if your daughter doesn't love him!"

4 hours later...

Charlie arrived and my mom was talking to Xyphen.

"Now there's your retarded father!" Mom said to Xyphen as Xyphen cried.

"MOM!!!" I shouted as Charlie entered the house.

"I'm home!!!" He said with a happy tone "What's wrong? Why's Xyphen crying?"

He went to Xyphen and took him from my mom and started to rock him "Baby...daddy's here! Why are you crying?"

I went near Charlie and put my hands on my waist "Well, mom said that you were retarded..soo...."

"*sigh* Baby...let's go upstairs! I bought something for you!!!!" He said excitingly "Wanna eat? Let's go eat!!"

Charlie brought Xyphen upstairs and tickled him so he will laugh "I told you Charlie is a good father. Who am I kidding? He's not a good father - HE'S A GREAT FATHER AND THE BEST HUSBAND EVER!!!"

"Bebe, tell me his imperfections. He's gotta have something!" Mom said.

"He's...just....perfect!" I replied thinking everything about him "He's all I ever wanted from a man..."

"Well, families like this, they break up easily." She replied.

"Oh, don't be bitter, Bukie!" Dad said defending Charlie "Our daughter's loving! Aren't you happy about that? She's married!"

"No, no! That's not what I meant! What I meant was...if you think he's perfect, then, there must be something wrong with him!" Mom defended keeping her voice high so that Charlie would hear it.

I thought to myself for a while What could be Charlie's imperfections? OH, I KNOW! "Well, Charlie...he's sometimes pretty clumsy and he'd be down for trouble, depende sa panahon." Mom and dad got confused by the last part.

"What did you say, sweetie?" Mon asked

"Oh, nothing! It's just something Charlie taught me. It's a foreign language called 'Bicol', though, there are many types of that language, distributed in the same region, but that's the only type of 'Bicol' that Charlie knows." I was confident.
