/ Third Person Protagonist POV /

( The Finalizer ) ( that same morning )

Kylo had remained in y/n's room, even after she had left, he seemed to not have processed it. Her strong aura still revolved in The Finalizer, and her sweet scent of rain and newly opened books filled her now empty living quarters. They had just found each other, and now she had left forever. Kylo picked up the old books from her table and skimmed through them, it would have never worked, anyways. She's my apprentice and I'm a commander of the First Order, there is no place for feelings in this life. He tried convincing himself, as he put the book down and picked up his mask.

Kylo's footsteps were heard echoed in all the empty halls of The Finalizer. The corridors were too empty without his apprentice snooping around everywhere, without his y/n's presence on the ship, but he wouldn't let his pain be seen. Kylo walked towards his living quarters, passing in front of the training lounge. Everywhere he went, there was a memory that replayed in his mind with y/n. Anything dumb y/n did that secretly made Kylo grin behind his mask as she tried to come up with an excuse, when they had shared a couple intimate moments in the training lounge, and in his living quarters.

He shook his head and sighted, y/n had made her way to his heart, that had been cold and emotionless for so many years, almost making him remind him of Ben Solo, but Kylo assured himself that foolish and weak boy was dead, he made sure of it every day.

He locked himself inside his room, having anger rise to his head, but it wasn't anger, and Kylo knew it. It was sorrow, it was sadness, it was the feeling of emptiness that his apprentice had left in him. Kylo took out his lightsaber and released whatever feeling was bottling up inside him on his living quarters. The nicely polished floors filled with debris of chairs, tables, and anything that lay atop of them.

Kylo fell to the floor, breathless and exhausted. He placed both his gloved hands at his face, as if he wanted to block out the chaos he had caused in his living quarters. Goddammit, y/n! What have you done to me?!  Kylo yelled in his head, but he already knew.

Kylo was still laying down on the cold floor, with his eyes closed as his breathing calmed, he didn't want to move. Kylo just wanted to freeze time and stay with y/n for one more minute, and then replay that same minute until he wanted it to stop. But y/n was gone, taken about half an hour ago, taken to the space ship of the Supreme Leader, and Kylo felt frightened for her, something he had never felt before either.

Kylo stood up, as he could feel the presence of someone behind the big black doors of his apartment, and he wouldn't let anyone see him in this state. It was captain Phasma, but it was odd to find her standing at the door of the Commander, unless something wasn't right.

Kylo's metal door swooshed open and the captain walked in, barely looking around at the destruction in Kylo's living quarters. " Commander, we have a problem." She spoke in her robotic voice. Kylo did not hesitate and rushed out of the private living quarters and towards the command room, he didn't care to let Captain Phasma finish her sentence, but he knew it had to do with the Resistance, y/n, or the Supreme Leader, and those three things did not mix well together.

General Armitage Hux was staring at the galaxy on the other side of the glass of the command room, barely noticing as Kylo was now standing beside him. " Star gazing while work, aren't we, general? That isn't too professional, is it?" Kylo said sarcastically through his voice changing mask.

The General took a few steps back, but then fixed his composure and stared at Kylo's mask. " Commander Ren. I assume Captain Phasma has filled you in on the problem." He said with the same arrogance as always. Kylo hadn't let the Captain speak about the problem, because just the fact of knowing something was not doing according to plan was already enough.

" Enlighten me, general." Kylo mocked. He knew he was testing Hux's patience, and Kylo found it very amusing.

General Hux had to use all his self control not to roll his eyes and walk away, but he knew it would cost him. " The space shuttle that was supposed to transfer your apprentice to the Supremacy was infiltrated by resistance members." Hux said coldly, as if he had read it off a script.

Kylo's eyes widened behind his mask as his breathing stopped. Out of everything that could go wrong, y/n's transfer wasn't what he had hoped for. " Prepare my TIE silencer and a fleet of TIE fighters." Kylo ordered as he prepared to walk out of the control room. Hell, bring a hole fleet of star destroyers. Kylo thought to himself.

" Commander, I'm afraid that is impossible." Hux replied, making Kylo stop and turn around. " The spacecraft has left our radars. They are nowhere to be found.

Oh I know exactly were they are. Kylo told himself as he continued to walk out of the command room without saying anything to Hux's remark. But could the Resistance have been foolish enough to bring y/n to D'Qar once more? He wondered as he headed towards his living quarters once more, to destroy what was left.

( Time skip )

Kylo felt as if it had been weeks that y/n had disappeared with the resistance, but only a couple hours had passed, and he was going out of his mind. He didn't eat, or drink, or show his masked face around The Finalizer in all day, he had only thought of a plan and destroyed his apartment completely. Another swoosh was heard and he knew someone had entered his living quarters without him agreeing to. He looked at the intruder, to find Captain Phasma once again at his door.

" Captain, what th-" He started saying, when he was interrupted by his inferior. Kylo was never interrupted by anyone. " Commander Ren. We have received a message from The Supremacy." She said, which peaked Kylo's interest. " They have caught the presence of an incoming X wing fighter, sir. It appears to be a resistance spacecraft."

A- a Resistance X wing?.. Kylo repeated in his head.

" Y/n." He muttered. " Y/n is on that spacecraft! Send a notice, tell The Supremacy not to fire at the X wing, my apprentice is on her way." He ordered as Captain Phasma and himself rushed out towards the control room.

You dumb, foolish girl, y/n. Kylo thought to himself. What the hell are you doing?
