/ First Person Protagonist POV /

Don't look back. Do NOT look back. I kept ordering myself continuously as I prepared the escape ship to go into lightspeed. You had to, y/n. You did the right thing. The little conscience at the back of my head said. I was happy it was back, it hadn't said anything for the whole time I was a Praetorian Guard, which who knows how long that was. I was glad to have someone talk to me, through my thoughts. Maybe it wasn't even someone, maybe I had made up that voice, but I was glad it spoke again, even though now it seemed as if I was crazy.

" Now where the hell do I go?.. " I muttered to myself.

I had to flee somewhere I could hide. Somewhere no one would come looking for me. Tatooine? No... It would be too obvious, and I do not know if anyone would recognize me. I opened a holographic map and enlarged it, to show most the planets of the galaxy. I had to choose fast, The Supremacy could be tracking my escape pod. If I was a wanted smuggler, where would I go?! I thought to myself.

I decided to pick a planet in the Outer Rim of the galaxy, I assumed smugglers and spice runners would hide in the biggest and most desolated part of the galaxy. Ok, y/n. Think like a smuggler. I told myself as I let the Force guide my eyes, who skimmed the hologram map. I came upon many possible planets, but there was always something off: Felucia, but it was home to the Jungle Felucians, and I wasn't fond of swamps either.  Bakura was probably the best option, but it was too far away, and I wasn't sure the escape pod would have enough power to travel more than half the galaxy. I could've went to Dathomir, but as I had read on The Finalizer, it was home to the Nightsisters, and I wasn't really hoping to encounter witches, plus, the Hydian way was very close to it, and it wasn't the best idea to hide close to a trade route.

There was only one more option of planets I could hide on, but it was on the bottom om my list: Nal Hutta. The criminal planet, even after the reign of the Hutts, the planet was filled with wanted criminals and smugglers. Not the type of crowd I ideally wanted to surround myself with, but whatever it took to get out of the reach of the First Order, whatever it took to disappear and go under the radar, I would do.

I set the automatic pilot's coordinates for Nal Hutta and headed towards the back of the small escape shuttle. There wasn't much cargo, apart from a few parts of clothing and helmets. I took the time to design an outfit to fit in with the criminal crowds of the planet, but my clothing would remain the crimson red robe of the Praetorian Guards, there was not another piece of clothes I could wear.

I sowed a hood over the neck of the robe and found a half face mask, which I believed was a voice distortioner as well. When I was done adjusting my outfit, I looked at my reflection on a shiny shield I had found in the cargo of the escape pod: I looked like a modern bounty hunter, which was perfect. Now all I had to do was act like a shady character and keep low profile on a planet where everyone cared only for themselves and money.

Should be easy enough. I told myself, in hopes to brighten up the gloomy mood I carried around a lot lately, and was suffocating me on the small ship. I returned to the cockpit to check how much time was left until I entered Nal Hutta's atmosphere: I still had about half an hour.

I decided to meditate, which was something I hadn't done in so much time. Rey had taught me how to meditate with the force revolving around me, to help clear my thoughts and illuminate me on how to solve my problems. As I did so, and lifted myself off the ground, the tactics Rey had taught me weren't working how she had affirmed they would: Instead of helping me solve my problems, it just made me more aware of them.

I had left The Supremacy, I had left a confused Rey and a saddened Kylo, and I didn't know if those two had then proceeded to try to cut each other's heads off, or if they had tried going after me. I didn't know if Rey was still held prisoner of the First Order, or if she had escaped using my fleeing as a distraction. A price at my head was probably already put and known around the whole galaxy, for treason to the First Order, and I was on my way to Nal Hutta, a planet filled with some of the galaxy's most infamous and wanted criminals, and I was joining the ranks and reputations of those outlaws.

Calm down y/n. You just have to disappear for some time, while the First Order forgets about you. I tried reassuring myself as I fell back down to the ground; I had lost all concentration. The thing is, I didn't want the First Order to forget about me, I assumed since Snoke was dead, Kylo would be his successor, meaning Kylo was now at head of the First Order. No matter how much I had to get away, I didn't want Kylo to forget me, but if he didn't, then the First Order would always be tracking me down.

" Why does life treat me like this?!" I yelled as I slammed my first on the desk of the cockpit. Unsure if that outburst was directed to me, or maybe I just awaited an answer from my little conscience, that had a mind of its own.

I looked at the holographic, map: I was very near Nal Hutta, and I decided to put the voice distortion mask that only covered up to my nose, and my hood on, as I gazed into outer space, and I could make the enlarging shape of the greenish planet of Nal Hutta.

Well.... That's something.

I guess our protagonist isn't all about the criminal world she has to hid in.

UNLESS....

I really hope you enjoyed the chapter! If you did, it would really help the story if you dropped a vote :)
