/ First Person Protagonist POV /

It felt like days had passed, and maybe they had, but time was countless here. There was no seeing if it was day or night, and I had begun to grow exhausted. My legs stung and burned so much, I had been standing up in the same up right position for who knows how long, and I only wanted to go take a break. Who knew doing nothing could tire so much?! I thought to myself.

It was weird not being able to talk, or slightly budge. Now I knew that the Praetorian Guard armor made it seem as if none of us were breathing, and I wondered if I looked like the rest of the Praetorian Guards, or if anyone could tell I was knew at it. I wanted to shift my weight from one foot to the other, but I was afraid I would ever so slightly cause a movement, and I assumed Praetorian Guards were required to stay immobile.

They must all have so much time to think and know themselves. I pondered, while looking to both guards at opposite sides out of the corner of my eye. But why would they? I bet they're all completely brain washed. It scared me. It scared me to think that maybe one day, I would end up like them, without a mind of my own. That I would forget about everything and everyone more than I had already.

The Bilari Electro- whip was very heavy, and since it was enclosed as a sword, from the start, I had decided to place the tip on the ground and rest my hands on top, and I knew I would not regret doing so. I had so much time, so much time to do nothing. I thought about resting my eyes, but I was afraid I would eventually stumble back, or if Snoke would realize I was resting, but I did so anyways.

I remembered the scent of sand and polished rocks. The head was unbearable, but I couldn't move. My mind was wide awake, but I couldn't see anything, or say anything, or move any of my limbs. The surface I was in was burning hot, and it felt sandy and raspy. This is it, I thought to myself. You've done nothing of your life, and now you're going to die.

I felt a gnawing pain at the back of my head, as if I had been injured, but I couldn't remember. I didn't remember  anything. Who am I? I had no answer. I was alone, left for dead, and the only company I had was a little voice in my head, a conscience, maybe? I didn't know, but it was telling me to get up. No matter how much I wanted to, I was unable to move a muscle.

I heard something, like a buzzing sound in the distance. It was getting louder by the second, but I couldn't identify the sound. Hell, I couldn't identify anything. At least I knew my touch, smell, and hearing were still there, but I worried for my sight, becoming blind when I didn't remember how the world looked was not of my convenience.

The buzzing stopped, and I could feel two strong arms lift my limp body. I felt a big hand holding my legs and the other at my waist, but I couldn't react: I was like a lifeless carcass. " She's still breathing." Someone said, and I knew the sound was coming from the person who was carrying me.

Of course I'm still breathing. I'm not dead. I wanted to say, but it only came out as a thought. I felt the strong arms drop me on top of something, and then the buzzing sound started again. I was frightened, wherever I was on, it was advancing and bouncing off a rocky surface. A type of transportation? I assumed.

Do not worry, y/n. The little voice at the back of my head told me. Y/n? Who's y/n? I pondered. I couldn't remember anything, and it really angered me, but scared me above all. The buzzing machines came to a stop, and I could hear many other people speaking, but I yet couldn't see anything else than the darkness of my closed or blind eyes, neither could I move any part of my body, I couldn't even feel I had limbs.

I don't know how much time had passed, but the blackness of what I could see slowly started to turn into gray, and then into blurry colored figures. I could feel my fingers twitching slightly, and I was glad I wasn't blind, paralyzed, or limbless. There was a woman next to were I lay, and my eyes took time to adjust to the lighting, but I could tell her features: She had caramel skin with long dreads of hair beautifully combed into a bun, and her captivating green eyes were staring right into my e/c ones.

" You're awake." She whispered, but even in her low voice, the sound gave me a headache.

I tried speaking, but only a few weird and low grumbles came out of my mouth. The young woman placed a humid towel on my forehead, and it was really refreshing. " You received a hard blow to your head, you know?" She said, but I knew she wasn't awaiting an answer. " I'm Syrin. Syrin Terrik. You're safe, ok? Don't worry." She said as she stood up and left.

Safe? Why wouldn't I be safe? I remember I had thought.

My eyes shot open as a loud slamming sound was heard. I tried not to jump in surprise, and held my breath slightly. I looked around out of  the corner of my eye, to see that the First Guard had slammed the edge of his Electro Bisento on the cold metal floor, which startled me. I had no idea Praetorian Guards had the right to make a sound.

The First Guard turned like a robot and started walking away in a march, followed by the guard beside me. I didn't know what to do, so I hesitantly followed the line and walked synchronized to them. Maybe we're going to eat, or rest? I thought to myself, after all, we were all just human and had our basic needs, and I was also very tired and hungry.

The file of Praetorian Guards I was walking in stepped in the now empty hallways of The Supremacy, the same way the two red armored stormtroopers had guided me earlier, or the day before, I didn't know, time didn't appear to exist in the throne room.

The four of us Praetorian Guards entered the room were the sleeping cubicles were, and they all took off their helmets, startling me. They seemed to all be looking at me, and I couldn't feel more uncomfortable.

" Who are you?" The tall man, who I identified as the First Guard asked.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahaha. Just throwing in another memory. Your first one, in fact. So yeahhhh, that's what happened when you were found in Mesoriaam, nothing too impressive.

I actually really like writing a couple flashbacks, I find it gives more background info. How about you? Do you like the flashbacks?

Anyways, sorry if this is the first chapter of the day and it is being published a little... late? I would have usually published another one earlier, but I was busy.

If you like my fanfic, leaving a vote would really help get it known, but no worries if not :)

I honestly didn't know how Praetorian Guards live. Like, do they stay 24/7 in the throne room? Cause they would die. Soooooo I decided to make up the Praetorian Living quarters and them taking breaks.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter! And have a wonderful day/night!
