/ First Person Protagonist POV /

We had departed Kef Bir as fast as the TIE fighters could soar, but me and Ben knew we had no time to waste, even if we were going at full speed and were already in a sector located at the edge of the outer rim, the unknown regions of the galaxy were still pretty far, and TIE fighters didn't have hyperdrives to get there quickly enough.

" Ben. What are we going to do?" I sighed into the comlink. " We're not going to get there fast enough."

" I know. That's why we'll do something crazy and dangerous." His voice sounded clearly in my headset.

" Crazy and dangerous has got us this far. I'm ready for anything." I chuckled. " My idea was to go near the Endor Gate. Ever heard of it?" Ben asked.

" No. So, please, enlighten me about it."

" It's a black hole."

" Ben, you've got to be kidding me." I huffed. " Tricking the First Order into giving us TIE fighters was one thing, but a black hole? I'm not sure these ships stand a chance against the gravity those things produce. Wait... Unless... because of the Endor Gate, a wormhole could have been formed due to the change in gravity... and that could take us across the galaxy in seconds if we needed. Forget what I said before! Your plan is still crazy, but brilliant, Ben!"

" Thank you." He replied enthusiastically. " It's the best and closest chance we've got. So save the TIE's energy reserves and fuel in case we get pulled by the blackhole."

" Hopefully that wont happen. I've had enough flying misfortunes lately." I joked. " I'm assuming you know where to go, so I'll follow you."

Ben's TIE fighter flew quickly towards the edge of the Endor Sector, where without a doubt, a blackhole was, barely visible to the eye, but it had a faint glow around it, which reminded me of the Darksaber a little bit, and also, an odd looking circular anomaly was static close to the Endor Gate, but not to a point were it would be dangerous. " There it is." Ben exclaimed. " Be careful now, y/n."

" You be careful, Ben." I corrected. " Are you sure this wormhole will get us to the edge of the Outer Rim? Towards the unknown regions?"

" Positively sure. This wormhole extends throughout much of the Outer Rim. We should get there in mere seconds. Just make sure to stay on route at all times." He replied.

" Roger that." I nodded to myself as both our TIE fighters flew into the wormhole. There was a lot of turbulence during the few seconds spent in there, and it was fairly unpleasant. The ships finally steadied, and I focused on the space in front of me.

It looked completely different than where we had just been seconds earlier, and I knew the wormhole had successfully warped us to the outskirts of the galaxy. " So this is the start of the unknown regions, huh?" I asked through the comlink.

" Yes. Be aware of your surroundings, love." Ben warned. " It's not all calm and easy as it looks."

The small size of the TIE fighters were in our favor, because as me and Ben navigated towards the unknown regions, an odd and dense red gas and stardust settled, as well as huge debris floated around carelessly, filling the path with obstacles.

" Ben?" I questioned when he had not replied for some time.

I don't know what was out there, but it was jamming the communication system of the TIE fighter, and I could barely communicate with Ben without my ears being attacked by loud static coming from the headset, so I only hoped I could still follow behind him through the dense red cloud without problem.

It's impressive how he remembered the way here. I sighed. But for something this important, I would only hope I'd have the memory to map a trip to the unknown regions without doubt as well.
