/ First Person Protagonist POV /

I loosened the grip on my lightsaber as I processed what Givu Djarggi had told me. He knows... It had taken my concentration away. How would he know?! " W- What? I've got no idea what your talking about." I muttered nervously, trying not to make it obvious his observation had worried me a lot. " Me? Someone called the Crimson Hunter? I think your mistaken."

The Dathomirian laughed wickedly and approached me, with his blaster pointed directly at my head. " The benefits of being one of the first hunters to descend the Final Order shuttle: I can go anywhere from there with everyone else still being in the ship." Givu Djarggi mentioned in a twisted tone. But, how did he know I was going to Tatooine?! And how did he get there so fast?! I thought he had gone to Sullust... He descended the ship right after Mando. I thought to myself.

" You're mistaken." I repeated. " I am the one that escaped the First Order, the bounty, I guess, whatever you want to call it. But I've never heard of the Crimson Hunter." I said loudly, trying to really seem puzzled at what he was telling me. " Don't think I'm dumb, you foolish girl." Givu Djarggi said. " Do you think I would not research about you and find out about your secret identity? The only bounty hunter that looked awfully suspicious around the Supreme Leader, and there was no records about the Crimson Hunter, until exactly when the bounty Kylo Ren wants disappeared. Coincidence much?"

I laughed nervously and tightened the grip on my lightsaber. Distract him, y/n. Keep the conversation going while you think of a plan. " The world is one odd place filled with coincidences, isn't it?" I joked nervously. " I wish I could keep this conversation going, milady." Givu said, placing his fingers on the triggers of his blasters. " But I've got to deliver you and take my generous prize." Dammit. You've got to use the big means now. I took deep breaths and yielded my lightsaber from side to side, getting used to it and remembering all my battle training Rey and Captain Phasma had given me.

" Pardon to disappoint you, Givu Djarggi. But you won't be delivering me to the Final Order." I told him as I prepared to deflect any blasts from his guns even though Kylo had ordered not to harm me. " You don't scare me, foolish girl." Djarggi replied, taking out from his bag sharp looking sabers with their metallic blades shinning in the night. Oh well, I didn't expect him to be so loaded with weapons. I sighted, as I was in no mood to battle, but I would if it meant I would keep up the façade.

" You don't want to do this, Djarggi. Have you ever went against a force sensitive before?" I warned him for the last time as I prepared myself to fight the experienced bounty hunter. " Guess I'll just add that to my list of accomplishments!" Givu yelled as he threw himself at me with full force, his weapons ready to slice anything in their paths.

I swiftly moved out of the way, but the Dathomirian was very agile and fast, I knew it wouldn't be easy. Dammit. If only I would have paid more attention at Captain Phasma's training. I flung my lightsaber at Givu, meaning to disarm him, but he would duck every blow of mine. " You're not bad at fighting for a runaway girl." He said between the fight, as both his shark swords pushed against my lightsaber. " You'd be surprised." I replied as I pushed him off.

I was beginning to grow a little bit tired, but I knew I couldn't let my guard down. Come on! The Crimson Hunter and the third guard wouldn't do that, y/n. I encouraged myself. You've been through tougher times and fights. I furrowed my eyebrows and thought of Kylo, who was awaiting my arrival on The Finalizer. I'll never get there with Givu Djarggi as the one that hunted me. He will probably kill me if I surrender to him. I told myself as I fought back fiercely.

I was gaining the upper hand in the fight, and Djarggi was slowly stepping back, trying to avoid every movement of my lightsaber: I knew he was getting tired as well. Come on, just a little bit more... Just disarm him already! The Dathomirian was getting closer to a pebbled wall, and soon he would be cornered.

Djarggi seemed to be aware of his soon to come defeat, and he unexpectedly took out a small dagger and jabbed the blade deep into my abdomen. I shrieked in pain as I stumbled back, tripping on my feet and falling onto the snowy ground, placing my free hand on my wound that was now starting to bleed, a lot. " I said you weren't so bad at combat. remember? But I'm better." Givu exclaimed as he walked towards me cautiously.

" You- scum." I muttered to him in pain as I tried getting up, but it was too painful. " Kylo Ren said to bring me in unharmed."

As soon as the words left my mouth, I immediately regretted them. I had just given Djarggi the clue he needed to piece out his hypothesis on me being the Crimson Hunter. " So after all I was right. The hunter was also the hunted." He said in a tone that sent unpleasant shivers down my spine. I couldn't let him know this, it would be too dangerous for me, and it could put at risk the Final Order, and Kylo.

" What are you going to do now, Djarggi? You harmed me. Do you think the Supreme Leader will be happy you disobeyed him?" I tried to discourage him, but my words didn't seem to get to his head. " You'll bring me a generous reward, y/n." Givu said, ignoring my remark. How he said my name disgusted me, it was the tone of a merciless and soulless monster.

Well, this is it, y/n. I told myself as I stared into the snowing sky. I'm probably going to bleed out before arriving to The Finalizer... I lamented as I put pressure on my bleeding wound, my hands covered in my own blood. One way to go... I would give everything to see Kylo's chestnut eyes stare at me one more time, at least. I thought to myself as I started to smile meekly and painfully at the thought of his beautiful irises.

The wound Djarggi had inflicted was most certainly fatal, and I could feel excruciating pain radiating through my body, but I felt so numb. Right when I thought Djarggi would end me for good, I saw him turn around and stare at the pebbled wall, and that's when I heard my savior voice.

" Get away from my bounty, Djarggi."
