I could tell everyone was mad at me. From my position on the bed, I had the perfect view of all the angry faces that surrounded me. Sasuke stood in the corner, grumpily staring out a window with his arms crossed over his chest. Naruto sat right at the bedside, lips pressed in a tight line probably to stop the tirade he so desperately wanted to release. Kakashi loomed over me, examining my chest and abdomen to assess the damage that Zabuza caused. I tried to not let myself get too excited over the fact that I was practically exposed in front of my sexy sensei.
"So, Kakashi~" I purred, "How good do I look?"
"Not very good," he stated bluntly, making me pout.
"Are you proud of me?" I asked innocently.
"No, not really," another blunt reply. I scoffed.
"WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT!?" Naruto suddenly blurted out.
"I wanted to help fight!" I defended.
"There were much better ways to go about that fight." Kakashi scolded, "Especially ones that didn't involve you cracking at least 5 ribs and bruising multiple organs."
"But those ways wouldn't have been any fuuuuuun!" I whined, "Besides, this way you didn't get chakra exhaustion."
"And how do you know that would have happened?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow.
"Just trust me baby," I cooed, "I know what I'm doing."
"It didn't really seem like you knew what you were doing." I heard Sasuke mutter from across the room.
"Please, Sakura," Naruto pleaded, "be more careful next time!"
"You're one to talk." I teased. I felt a jab lace through my ribs.
"Ow!"
"Sakura," Kakashi sighed, beginning to bandage me up, "this whole mission you haven't shown that you are willing to take missions seriously."
"But I'm capable," I quipped.
"Yes, but being a kunoichi has much more to it than being able to blow up an enemy." he pulled my shirt back down, "you lack communication skills, which are crucial to working on a team, and you lack critical thinking skills."
"Oh, please," I turned my face away from him in another pout, "you're starting to sound like Hinata."
"Maybe you should take her advice." I cast him an angry look.
"Whatever." I muttered. I suddenly felt cold metal around my wrist.
"What are you doing?"
"Tieing you to the bed," Kakashi replied smoothly, "you need to rest in order to heal and I don't trust you to stay put."
"Oooooo, Kakashi," I purred, "how naughty of you!"
Kakashi simply sighed and left the room, Sasuke and Naruto following after him.
I knew where they were going. Kakashi was about to have the boys practice chakra control, and there was no way I was going to be left out. I took a moment to examine the cuff around my wrist. He hadn't done it very tight surprisingly enough, and with some wiggling I was able to work out of it. Of course, there would be the issue of him noticing I was gone, so a clone was in order. After planting my clone I snuck out the window and began my slow walk to the training area.
I made sure to take my time, assuring that Kakashi would not be there when I arrived. I snuck into the clearing just in time to watch Naruto fall right on his head.
"You idiot," Sasuke spat, "stop being such a spaz and maybe you'd stop hurting yourself."
"Shut up!" Naruto shouted back, "like you're doing any better!"
