I couldn't help but wonder if Sakura gave me the correct information. Most would understand my trepidation in trusting her, but thus far in the war she had demonstrated an impressive level of care and thought that was unexpected given her past exploits.
That didn't matter right now though, and I needed to trust that, like in all other situations thus far, she was correct in what she thought was going to happen.
I suppose I just wanted to avoid fighting my grandfather.
The fact that a former leaf ninja would go as far as to desecrate his own culture disgusted me more than the revival of my grandfather. It was more a matter of principal than any personal attachment.
I was disturbed either way by seeing him again, and it was something I had hoped was a one time occurrence. As I saw a disturbance approaching from in front of me, it was confirmed that Sakura was in fact right about Obito sending Konohagakure's founder to destroy it.
What type of jutsu would be able to entirely erase his will? I needed to find out, "Grandfather," I called out, noticing with intrigue that he did pause in front of me, "Are you really going to allow yourself to be puppeted?"
He said nothing, remaining in place.
I crossed my arms over my chest, "It's disgraceful what our enemy is doing." I asserted, "And I am disappointed that your 'will of fire' is not great enough to overcome his control."
Something flashed through his eyes, but he took a step forward.
"You're going to fight me?" I huffed, "Have it your way then. I won't allow my village to be destroyed."
I leapt forward, Hashirama raising a wood barrier that I effortlessly broke through. I followed through with a punch to his ribs, throwing him back into the woods.
He rushed back towards me, sending a many armed wood attack over me and towards the village. Raising an earth wall in defense and effectively blocking the attacks, I punched through it, hoping the shrapnel might provide an adequate cover for me to try and place a seal on him.
Running around the wall to approach him from the side, I threw my arm back in preparation to plant the seal. He turned to face me right as I was about to mark him, but in a sudden flash of disorientation I found myself in a completely different location, stumbling to a stop.
My eyes darted around, spotting the Kazekage, Tsuchikage, and Raikage standing next to me. The Mizukage suddenly appeared, the Kazekage helping to steady her.
"What is going on here?" I demanded, "I need to get back to the Leaf!"
"I was told by Sakura that Madara has finally been revived." Gaara answered gravely, "She says that we need all the power we can get."
"He's been resurrected?" The Mizukage repeated, gazing at him with wide eyes.
"Yes," the Raikage affirmed, "And she has given us a basic plan as well."
"We need to seal that man away in something and then make sure he can never be found again." The Tsuchikage stated.
"Do we know where he is?" I asked, already scanning the clearing for any signs of him. This place held an eerie silence.
"I believe he is around this area. We must be carefull." Gaara replied.
It didn't take us much waiting as a massive fireball suddenly erupted overhead. The Mizukage countered it with a water blast, and Gaara raised up a pillar to grab our unseen attacker.
Madara glared down at us, effortlessly breaking out of the containment, "So, these are the new Kage?"
I didn't waste any time, leaping into the air to punch Madara. He shifted to the side, but wasn't able to predict the attack from behind by the Raikage.
