I sighed heavily standing nervously outside of the room. Kakashi stood next to me in the hospital's hall.
"Do you want to do this alone?" he asked.
"Yes, I don't want anyone else in there but me and them." I stated firmly, "I don't want anyone to get in the way."
"You aren't helping my confidence in you." Kakashi sighed tiredly, "The nurses will kill us if we allow you to agitate their patients."
"It's not like I want to do this okay!" I scoffed, "It's something I need to do for everyone's sake."
"Alright, but if I sense that anything is going wrong, we're shutting this little meeting down alright?" he asserted, "But... I trust that you are going to make the right decisions."
"Thank you," I mumbled, turning the knob and walking into the small waiting room.
It seems everyone was here, well, of course not everyone. Tenten and Lee sat on either side of Neji, who had Hanabi sitting in his lap. Choji, Ino, and Shikamaru all sat next to each other on the other side of the little space. Ino was holding hands with the both of them, talking calmly about something. Kiba sat near the middle of the room, knees pulled up to his chest, absentmindedly petting Akamaru who sat next to him. Shino sat on his other side, sitting up straight with his arms folded over his chest. Naruto sat near the middle as well, brightening when he saw me and jumping up to hug me.
"Hello, husband." I greeted softly, returning the hug and ruffling his hair, "How've you been healing?"
"Well, I wasn't really injured at all, so I'm doing fine." he answered, "What did you want to talk to us about?"
"Sit down, and I guess I'll just get right into it." I took a deep breath, walking to the other side of the room in front of the group. It almost felt like I was giving some sort or presentation, but this wasn't like a bullshit history project. They looked at me expectantly, some seemed sad, others just seemed confused, others looked like they were dying inside.
"Man... where do I even start?" I grumbled to myself. Should I begin with questions? No, that would get too convoluted; it would be better just to go chronologically and then ask questions from there. But, where to begin? Do I begin with explanations? Or do I begin with the narrative?
I let out a sigh; I knew where I needed to start.
"I have something very important to tell you all about myself and the mission first." I stated. The air was filled with apprehensive silence as I steeled myself for my confession, "I can see the future." I blurted out.
"What?" Naruto voiced everyone's confusion.
"If you've brought us here to joke, then I might as well leave." Neji hissed angrily.
"It's not a joke." I defended, "That was the reason I was always around Lord Third, remember Naruto?" I hated to rely on his memory for support, but oh well. He sat there a moment, thinking.
"Oh, yeah, you were!" he remembered, "And you were able to predict a lot of what happened on our mission with Zabuza! You actually seem to do that stuff a lot on our missions."
"Wait, so are you telling me you can really see the future!?" Ino sputtered.
"Hinata did say that you could explain things more but... Did you know this was going to happen?" Kiba asked quietly.
"Yes. I can't lie about that." I sighed, flinching at the spike of anger that went through the room, "But, that is the reason that I'm close to the Hokage. I'm supposed to be there to warn them of things like this."
