Oh no

The world around me was white. The ground below me was cold and wet. I blinked, confused for a moment by the strange sensations around me. Looking down, all I could see was glassy blue. I was on water.

I looked up to see black coats, black coats with red clouds.

I tried to move but found I could not. I could hear distant combat behind me, sounding like it was between two people. Looking past the legs in front of me, I saw a woman with red eyes and dark hair slipping below the water as a silver haired man began to engage the man in front of me. Why wasn't she fighting? Her eyes had glossed over, her body numb as she disappeared beneath the surface. She never came back up.

I sat up with a jolt. There was no way that it was that day! Was Kurenai actually going to die this time? How bad were things going to get? I felt the bed shift as Hina rolled over, eye blinking open and squinting from the light.

"You okay?" she mumbled. I noticed another mass moving, looking past Hina to see Hanabi hugging onto her sister. Adorable.

"Y-yeah." I breathed, "I just have something I need to take care of." I flipped the blankets the rest of the way off of myself and rushed to the closet to get changed.

"Hmm... need me to do anythin'?" she sighed. I could tell by her tone that she'd rather be sleeping.

"Please," I begged, "I need you to trust me and just stay put for a while." I paused, "Actually, if you see anything strange, you can do whatever you want."

"Okay?" she raised a confused eyebrow, but shrugged and re-snuggled her arms around Hanabi, "Will do."

I headed out the door, ignoring Neji's confused stare as I burst from Hinata's room. I started running down the street. I needed to find them as quickly as possible. I wanted to prevent as much damage as possible because I really didn't want my sexy sensei to go into a torture coma.

I checked my pockets for the papers. Good. I had everything I needed.

As I neared the lake, I slowed down, no point in ruining my mission before it could even start. I crept into the treeline, placing my silencing seals on my shoes. I just needed to get close enough.

I heard the distant sound of fighting. Gai and Kiseme were already at it; I could tell by the boisterous, booming voice. I peeked through the trees, looking just in time to see Kakashi entering the battle to protect Kurenai. I wasn't too late, not yet.

My eyes moved to Itachi, and I couldn't help but freeze a little. Was I really about to do this? To a member of the Akatsuki? I took a deep breath, steeling myself not only for my next act of stupidity but the numerous lectures I was about to get.

I maneuvered myself behind Itachi as best as I could, moving onto the water. Itachi and Kakashi were having some kind of conversation, but I couldn't pay attention to that right now. I ran as fast as I could and took a flying leap onto his back.

"Now, Kakashi, let's finish-" Itachi was interrupted as I slammed into his back, locking my arms and legs around him. The breath was forced out of him and he made some kind of suppressed cry of surprise. I took the opportunity to quickly fish into my pockets, grab the papers, and shove them into his cloak.

"Hello, sensei~!" I cried out, lifted my head to shoot a wide smile at Kakashi.

"S-Sakura!?" Kakashi's eyes widened in momentary horror before he glared at me, "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"

"This!" I chirped, satisfied with how the papers were situated I began to withdraw my hand, pausing for a moment, "Wow! Nice pecs!" I gasped in pleasant surprise.
