Oh god, the faces were back.

I let out a horrified shriek as I fell onto the disturbingly warm earth, my arms and legs sinking beneath the surface. With a desperate shout, I tried to free myself to no avail, twisting arms emerging once again to claw at me.

Blood began to ooze from the ground, rising up slowly. I pushed myself upwards, willing my legs to work, but the hands wouldn't release me. My face became submerged, the feeling of liquid filling my lungs dragging me further into the darkness.

"Shit." I hissed, quickly sitting Sakura up so that she could clear her lungs better.

She blinked her eyes open as she coughed, looking around confusedly before latching onto me, "I was drowning." she whimpered.

I sighed heavily, "No, you didn't take your medicine and went hysteric, so, when I tried to give it to you, you choked."

She only pressed her face further into my chest, "I don't like drowning."

I patted her on the back, "That's a normal thing to not like."

"Why was I drowning? There isn't any water here." she looked around the room, and I quickly realized that trying to reason with her right now wasn't an option due to the wonderful combination pain meds, hallucinations, and her medication.

"Why can't you just listen to me?" I grumbled under my breath, laying her back down.

"No!" she grabbed my sleeve, "I need a lifeguard in case the water comes back!"

"I'm not going anywhere." I soothed.

"Good, because I can't fight sharks," she huffed, "And you can."

I decided better than to ask her how she landed on the topic of sharks, instead choosing to smile, "You bet I can."

"What's your favorite shark?" she asked.

"Blue sharks are pretty cool." I hummed.

"I like orcas." she grinned.

Once again, I elected to ignore the inherent problems with that statement, "They're cool too."

She gasped, "Kisame is a shark!"

I couldn't help but laugh, "He is?"

"He's my favorite shark." she affirmed.

I covered my smile with my hand, "I'll make sure to tell him."

"Are you best friends?" she narrowed her eyes at me.

"I thought we were best friends." I replied.

Her eyes widened, "Oh right!"

I registered the door opening behind me, but kept my attention on Sakura, "How about you try and get some proper rest now?"

"Is there improper rest?" she inquired.

"Oh, you better believe there is." I chuckled, finally casting a glance to the side to see who had entered.

Holy shit she was right about Tenten becoming hot. Tenten seemed to be in a similar state of awe as we both scanned each other, Tenten setting the flowers she had brought down on the table before tackle-hugging me.

"Holy shit you're so pretty!" she blurted before jumping back and clapping her hands over her mouth with a furious blush.

"And y-you're... hot!" I gestured at her in turn.
