I entered the medical camp, eyes scanning over the various medical nin and patients to try and find my desired target. Hoping that her current absence was due to her being busy and not in critical condition, I pushed down my anxiety and tried to focus on peering into tents and keeping my eyes peeled for an excessive amount of black clothing.

Platform boots, natural height, and a distinctive style made her easy to spot in a crowd, so as soon as my eyes landed on that mass of curly black hair I bolted.

"You beautiful bitch!" I cried, racing over to Hina, "That was the coolest thing I've ever seen!"

She whipped around in surprise, smiling after she realized it was me, "Yeah? I couldn't have done it without your sword."

"So, it was you!" Kiba rounded the corner, marching up to us, "You told her to do that!?"

"What did you expect?" I asked, brow furrowing.

He blinked before letting out a frustrated huff, "Okay, yeah, obviously it was you..."

Sasuke peeked around the tent, smirking as he saw us and coming over to pat Kiba on the shoulder, "Don't worry about him; he's just overprotective."

Kiba flushed and glared at Sasuke like he was going to hit him until he thought better of it, sighing in resignation. Sasuke only laughed, refocusing his attention on me, "So, why're you out of HQ?"

"More secret plan stuff." I grinned.

"And... let me guess," Hina sighed, "You need me for something?"

I nodded enthusiastically, "I've got another plan that might help us end this!"

"Seriously?" Kiba tilted his head, "I guess that is a pretty good reason to leave your post."

I bounced excitedly, "Yeah, and I'm actually needed for this one too!" I took Hina's hands in mine, "What do you say? How about one more adventure!"

Hina chuckled, "Alright then. I'm guessing you need me for transportation?"

"You're so smart." I grinned. She sighed with a smile, and I couldn't help but notice how tired she looked. I leaned forward with a scrutinizing glare, "Are you kidding me!? Why do you look so drained?"

"It might have had something to do with playing tennis with an actual nuke." she shrugged sarcastically.

"Why haven't you asked Karin to restore your chakra?" I interrogated.

"I have." she retorted, "But I can't have her expending all of her energy on me when we have a whole camp full of injured!"

"But Hina you're important." I grabbed her shoulders to shake her lightly, "Like it or not, you need to be top priority because you can do things that no one else can!"

Hina pouted at me for a moment, "Fine, I'll go find her."

"First things first; we need to eat!" I declared, letting Hina go so I could root around in my side bag. Withdrawing a couple of pink orbs, both Hina and I jumped in surprise when Sasuke and Kiba suddenly cried out.

Kiba grabbed Hinata and yanked her back to him, stepping back while keeping her close to him, "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"
"Uh... it's-"

"Why would you take that out in a medical camp!?" Sasuke cried, practically hiding behind Kiba.

Hinata's brow furrowed as she looked back to me from where she was locked in Kiba's arms, "What are you guys talking about?"

"Put it away before someone dies!" Kiba demanded.

With an unamused glare, I popped the orb, and both boys leapt back again with a shout, Kiba placing his hand over Hina's mouth, "Don't breathe it in!"
