I tentatively peeked into the spacious, dark room in front of me. I couldn't sense anyone in there, so I cautiously walked in, examining the different aspects of the space. The lighting was quite poor, but I was still able to clearly see the various weapons on the walls and the table covered in medical instruments. I hummed to myself, feeling the lack of stimulation from the past week, and slid my fingers down the blade of a particular sword. My eyes traveled to the back of the room, seeing some training dummies set up. I vaguely wondered if this was some sort of experiment from Orochimaru to view my behavior.

I suppose I didn't care if it was; I was bored out of my mind and wanted to do something. Moving over to the back of the room, I began stretching, relishing the feeling of having functioning joints again. I threw a few practice jabs at the air, getting a feeling for how I could move. A happy laugh escaped me as I felt no pain from moving, performing a few complex kicks. Whipping around, I roundhoused one of the practice dummies, leaping back in surprise when its head easily came off.

"Don't worry," I heard the sultry purr of Orochimaru from the doorway, "That's what they were put here for."

I gave a nervous nod, walking over to pick up the fallen head and place it next to the dummy.

"Why the change in demeanor?" Orochimaru asked with a touch of disappointment, "You seemed to be enjoying yourself."

"I was simply enjoying the ability to move again," I replied, "Lord Orochimaru." I had to remember to address him properly, that was going to be hard to learn.

"It was interesting that you looked at the weapons yet didn't choose one." Orochimaru strolled over to the rack, caressing the same blade that I did.

"I'm not a weapon fighter," I looked back to the dummy, "The Hyuga make use of their fists for attacks, though I have extended my techniques to full body combat."

"Are you useless with a weapon then?" Orochimaru inquired.

"Not entirely, hand me a blade and I will be able to kill, just don't expect it to be graceful." I sighed.

"Interesting, you have quite the unique skill set." he mused, "How about we figure out how best to use it?"

"That would make sense, sir." I answered. Orochimaru smiled, gesturing with his hand to the door. My blood ran cold when I saw Kabuto saunter into the room. I bit my lip, desperately attempting to hold back a barrage of insults.

"Oh, what ire." Orochimaru hummed, eyeing me in amusement before returning his gaze to Kabuto, "What on earth have you done to upset her so much?"

"I-"

"Exist." I interrupted, not able to resist. Kabuto pressed his lips into a line, casting a mildly annoyed look at Orochimaru.

"Ooo," Orochimaru chuckled, "Perhaps I know what to do with you today after all."

"Sir?" Kabuto's annoyance turned to mild concern.

"I want you two to spar." Orochimaru smirked.

"Sir!?" Kabuto repeated, "Are you sure that's th-"

"How far can we go?" I cut in. Kabuto snapped his gaze to me, surprised.

"I'll monitor the fight." Orochimaru answered, "Don't hold yourself back."

I nodded, sprinting towards Kabuto and activating my byakugan.

"Lord Orochimaru! Wait, are you sure-!?" He activated a chakra scalpel just as I reached him, slashing at me. I skidded to the side, using my current shorter height to try and jab under his arm. He jerked backwards a few steps, performing a quick hand sign.
