With an excited cheer, I held Lipstick over my head and ran down the stairs. Doing perhaps my seventh lap around the house gazed up at my dog happily, "It's finally over Lipstick! It's over!"
I jumped up onto my couch and bounced around for a bit before jumping off, setting Lipstick on the coffee table. I went running for the stairs, almost crashing directly into Sasuke.
"What the hell are you doing?" he rubbed his eyes sleepily, apparently my celebration had woken him up.
"Sasuke, don't you know what today is!?" I bounced enthusiastically in front of him as he glared at me groggily.
"It's not anyone's birthday is it?" he asked with a tired worriedness.
"No! Silly!" I giggled, "My house arrest is over!" I thrust my hands skyward in a vigorous jazz hands fashion.
Sasuke was immediately awake, an ecstatic grin breaking through his haze, "You're kidding!?" he threw his hands up too, "It's over!"
"I'm free!" I spun around in place.
"I'm free!" he cheered before giving me a surprise hug, "I'm no longer stuck with you!"
"It wasn't that bad!" I huffed as he let me go to enjoy his momentary euphoria.
"No, it was horrendous." he corrected, "I'm going to feel sanity again!"
"You're being mean!" I pouted, turning pointedly away from him.
Sasuke sighed, "I'm sorry, okay? You were just really stir crazy."
"I know." I grumbled before switching back to my happy mood, "But that's over now! Let's have a celebration breakfast!"
"Fuck yeah!" Sasuke pumped a fist, "Eggs and bacon again." he cheered sarcastically.
I gave a similarly sarcastic whoop as we both went laughing into the kitchen to cook.
As we sat at the table eating, Sasuke smirked at me, "So, what's your first move as a free woman?"
I gasped excitedly, "Oh! Today is the perfect day to do that!"
I jumped up, running to my room to grab my workbooks much to Sasuke's confusion. I came running down the stairs holding the book over my head, "I figured out the curse seal!"
"You did?" Sasuke's eyes widened in surprise, "That's a big deal right?"
"Yes!" I beamed, "I need to go see Anko as quickly as possible!"
"Oh yeah, she had the mark..." Sasuke mumbled.
"She'll be so happy!" I hugged my book happily, "And this fits into my plan perfectly!"
Sasuke's eyebrows raised, "'Plan'?" he repeated with concern.
"Don't worry about it," I deflected, "It doesn't involve you."
"I don't know if I believe that but," he shrugged, "Carry on."
Going to the front door, I busted it open, causing the guards to jump away, "I'm going to the armory!" I announced.
Without waiting for a response, I began skipping my way to the armory.

I kicked open the armory door; it had been far too long since I'd done that. Leaving my guards outside, I marched confidently inside to meet the smug grin of Anko.
"Long time no see, my little trouble maker." she laughed, "How'd house arrest treat ya?"
"We don't talk about that." I deflected, "Especially since I have something much more exciting to tell you."
