The soothing rush of water both calmed and aggravated my nerves as we drew closer to the falls. This was it; Naruto was going to begin mastering the nine tails.
"This is it?" Naruto asked, glaring unimpressed at the pool.
"Yep." I shrugged, "You gotta sit on that little island there and meditate."
Naruto crinkled his nose, "Sounds boring."
"It won't be," I sighed, "Trust me on that."
"So," his anxiety seemed to return, "What do I need to do?"
"Trust yourself." I asserted, "Remember why you're doing all of this, and have complete faith in yourself."
"Are we all going to do that?" Tenten inquired.
"We can." I smiled, "It might be fun."
"A little introspection never hurt anyone." Takumi nodded.
Shino frowned at the water, "Chances of me falling in?"
"Unlikely." I responded.
He nodded, "Then I will 'introspect' as well."
We all walked towards the small island, trying our best to all fit on it and sit in a circle.
"This is kinda scary." Tenten huffed nervously.
"It is a little abstract." Shino agreed.
Takumi laughed, "You kids are missing your sense of adventure!"
"That's the spirit!" Naruto cheered.
I smiled, "Alright then, see you on the other side! And remember, no fighting!"

I was suddenly alone, staring at the waterfall.
"Why are you here?"
I blinked to see brown eyes peering back at me, and I took a nervous step back, "What do you mean?"
"Why would you waste your time coming here?" the girl in front of me yelled, "Do you think you can really help anyone? Do you think this will do anything for you?"
"Will you shut up!" I countered, "I shouldn't have a problem anymore; I'm not trying to be anyone."
My double tilted her head to the side before a wide smirk spread across her lips, "Oh, so that's what you think this is about." she chuckled to herself, "Maybe try answering my question first and your brain might catch up to what the issue is." she took another step, smirk dropping into a dead serious expression, "What is your goal in coming here? What do you think that you offer?"
I didn't understand, "I'm... trying to find myself. I want to find out who 'Tenten' is." I shrugged nervously, off put by the severity of her glare, "I will be honest that I had some pretty selfish reasons for coming, but I can also fight. I wanted to try and protect them."
She laughed, "Self-discovery then, but did you ever consider that your 'true self' might not be worth finding?"
"What?" What did that mean? What was she trying to say?
The malicious smirk returned, "You've gone on this grand quest to find yourself without considering that who you are is entirely uninteresting and insignificant."
"I'm sorry?" I growled.
"You are a civilian with no specializing qualities." my double explained, "'Yourself'' is a woman meant to be running a little weapons shop and becoming a housewife just like every other civilian should."
