"I can't believe I got to meet my mom!" Naruto beamed.

"I can't believe Shino slept the entire boat ride back." Tenten smirked, casting a teasing glance back as us.

Shino flushed, sinking down into his collar, "I can't believe that Takumi made the boat ride only one day."

Takumi grinned proudly, "That's what you get when you recruit a master sailor."

"That trip went pretty well all things considered." I smiled, "It could've gone a lot worse, at least."

Tenten nodded, "Nice for something to go... relatively smoothly."

I knew the topic that everyone was trying to avoid, and I was more than happy to do so as well, instead trying to direct my attention to the next step.

"We need to warn Lady Tsunade of Pain's attack as soon as possible." I asserted, "That's the first thing we should do when we get back."

"This Pain guy's a big deal?" Takumi asked with a quirked brow.

"Yeah." I huffed, "He's gonna kill a bunch of people if we don't warn Tsunade."

"Do you have a plan?" Shino frowned in concern, not that it wasn't warranted.

"I do." I nodded, "For once I've tried to think something out. The only problem is that Tsunade might not want to listen to me because of the shit I've pulled."

"She's reasonable." Tenten suggested, "If you can get past the angry wall she's going to put up, convincing her to take you seriously in this case shouldn't be too hard. That and we'll also be there to back you up."

"That might be my only saving grace here." I groaned, "She might just try and obliterate me on the spot."

Takumi paused, glaring at the treeline, "You kids hear something?"

Shino turned, scanning the area behind us, brows lowering, "Hm. Something's not right."

A crew of Leaf shinobi suddenly burst from the trees, running up behind Naruto and throwing a bag over his head. Takumi whirled around, about to throw his trident.

"No!" I cried out, throwing my arms wide to try and gather my companions' attention, "Don't fight! They're Leaf!"

Before I could get another word out, a bag was placed over my own head, and I was shrouded in darkness.

The bag was pulled off of my head, revealing that I was in the Hokage's office strapped to a chair much like my other companions.

"Sakura Haruno." Tsunade began, and a shiver ran up my spine at her icy tone, "I hope you have a damn good explanation for what you just pulled."

"I do." I responded quietly, hoping to not anger her further.

"Please," she gestured, her attempted smile twisting in rage, "Tell me why running away and putting our most valuable resource, yourself, at risk and kidnapping our village's jinjuriki to take him into our enemy's territory was a good idea."

"He needed to learn how to control the nine tails' chakra in order to fight Pain." I responded, "The place for him to do that was in Cloud territory."

"Interesting." she seethed, "So, tell me why I was not notified of this plan?"

"Because you would've said no." I replied simply, "Like you said: jinjuriki, future seer, enemy territory."

"But, apparently you have also been contacting the Raikage behind my back." she explained with an overwhelming sense of exasperation and fury, "So, I suppose you made some sort of agreement with him to allow your safe passage?"
