I watched as Ino climbed up the stairs to join us.

"Sakura?"

"She's fine. She's going to the hospital to get better." Ino smiled sweetly at me. Kiba rubbed my arm comfortingly.

"She's going to be alright." He murmured to me.

"Thank you, Ino. I'm proud of you." I smiled back at my friend. She sat down next to me where Sakura was.

We all sat there and vaguely listened through Tenten and Temari's fight. Shikamaru watched for us and gave us a little play by play.

I couldn't help but worry though, that the fights wouldn't change very much from this point on. What if they all stayed the same?

Would Kiba and Naruto really fight?

Could Kiba fight?

Who would I fight?

Does Neji know what happened to me?

OhmygodI'mstillgoingtofightNeji.

"Hinata, are you panicking?" Kiba asked nervously, pulling me from my spiralling.

"No?"

"You're joking, right?"

"N-no....?"

"Jeez... your heart's like a rabbit's..." he used the hand that wasn't around me to start carding through my hair, coming out the tangles and gently brushing any strands out of my face, "it's beating too fast." We sat in silence for a second.

"Are... you okay with me doing this?" He suddenly asked.

"What?"

"With... touching you and stuff?" he averted his eyes.

"Yeah..." I leaned my head against his shoulder, "It's okay, it's helping to ground me."

"What's 'grounding' mean?"

"It's like when you are having a panic attack or something like that, and it helps to put you back into the moment. It's like a focusing on the here and now type of thing."

"Oh..." I felt his arm tighten around me a little, "well... I'm happy that it's helping you."

"Do you need anything?" I had a really bad feeling about his fight.

"I think I'm doing alright." he shrugged.

"Are you sure?" I gently placed my hand on his side, "You still aren't healed all the way."

"Hinata, no." Shikamaru said from his spot at the railing.

"Yeah, please, I'm fine." Kiba removed my hand.

"Akamaru?"

"He's doing fine too." Kiba sighed, "You really need to relax."

"Hinata," Ino soothed, "everyone is fine, everything is fine, everything will be alright."

"Thank you." I said.

"God, girls and their therapist skills." Kiba grumbled.

"Hey," Shikamaru turned around, "Tenten lost."

"Oh? She's not going to be happy about that." I mused, although I didn't really care all that much.

Then the announcer gave us the pairing for the next match. I felt Kiba go ridgid next to me. Naruto glanced at us uncomfortably before walking toward the stairs.

"Please don't freak out." he whispered in an incredibly quiet tone.

"I-it's okay... you're going to be okay." I still held on to his arm as he began to stand up.
