I kicked open the door to the armory.
"ANKO!" I screamed, "I have an ideaaaaa~!" I singsonged. Said woman leapt in surprise at my outburst.
"Jeez louise!" she held a hand to her chest, "Someone's excited today!"
"Yes! Because I have an awesome idea!" I held up my fists to the air, unable to contain my excitement.
"Okay!" she pulled up a chair, sitting backwards on it and resting her arms on the back of it, "Lay it on me!"
"Okay!" I began pacing energetically, "So, I've been working on trying to solve the caged bird seal."
"Really!?" Anko gasped, "Wow, that's ambitious!"
"Yeah, I know right? But I wanted to do that for Hina so that she can come back to a better clan." I explained, beginning to gesture wildly with my hands, "And I might even get a level four in sealing for it! But then, I was thinking, what's a sealing thing that would really help Hina, and then I realized: the curse mark!"
Anko's eyebrows went up, "You're not saying you-"
"Am going to try and figure out a way to remove the curse mark? Yes, of course I am!?" I pointed to Anko, "And that's where you come in."
"So... you're telling me that you're going to try and... get rid of my curse mark?" Anko asked in awe.
"I know right!?" I skipped over to her, "Isn't that exciting?"
"I mean... yeah." she breathed, looking more than a little stunned, "I can't believe someone's actually trying to do that."
"You really are something, you know that?" she laughed, shaking her head.
"Not the first time I've been told that." I smiled widely, "How about I take a look and see what I can learn?"
Anko grinned back at me, "That sounds like an awesome idea."

After my discussion with Anko, I sprinted across Konoha to make it to my house in time, arriving just as Ben walked out of the house with Sasuke.
"Hey!" I ran up to him, throwing an arm around Sasuke's shoulders, "You ready?"
"What do you think?" he glared at me, but still had a smile on his face. He clearly couldn't contain his excitement.
"Alright!" I jumped up excitedly, taking him by the hand, "Let's go!"
Ben and Jerry walked behind us as I strolled with Sasuke to the hospital, swinging our arms dramatically much to his chagrin. He was incredibly quiet though, more than normal Sasuke quiet, so I looked over to see he had a very tense expression.
"Nervous?" I inquired softly. I mean, it would make sense.
"Hungry." He grumbled his answer, "Why can't I fucking eat before they put my eye in? They don't even need to cut me open or anything!" That was Sasuke speak for 'Yes, I'm fucking nervous, but I'm going to cover it up by complaining'.
"So you don't choke on your vomit if that just so happens to happen when you're unconscious." Ben stated bluntly. Sasuke flinched next to me.
"Wait, that can happen?" He shot a nervous glance back. Jerry elbowed Ben in the ribs.
"Well now he's nervous!" Jerry griped.
"He asked a question and I gave him his answer!" Ben defended.
"Hey," I nudged Sasuke's shoulder with mine, "Don't worry about it. It'll only be an hour or two and then recovery and then I'll make you all the grilled cheese you want."
