I shoved my books into my bag in a manner that was starting to become uncomfortably familiar to me; was my life really going to be spent hopping around from place to place?
The door opened behind me, but I ignored it in favor of possibly signaling I was doing something wrong.
I internally relaxed when I heard Itachi's voice, "Is this really the plan?"
"You got a better one?" I spun around to face them, "Unless you want to fight them head to head, this is the best way to try and prevent them from getting all of the beasts."
Kisame scoffed, "Okay, yeah, but I also wouldn't mind punching some of those bastards in the face." he folded his arms over his chest, "Fuckers can be so annoying sometimes."
Itachi shook his head, "This isn't for the sake of vendettas, Kisame."
"It could be though." he muttered under his breath, and Itachi leveled him with an unimpressed glare.
He returned his attention to me, "Are you sure this is the right time?"
I nodded, "We don't have time left."
After another moment of contemplation, Itachi sighed, "You're right. Besides fighting I don't know what else there would be to do."
"That pink girl also said that this would be the best plan." Kisame reminded.
"I know, it's just that I can't help but feel... weird." he admitted.
"How so?" Jugo asked.
"I've been with this organization for a while, and this is a big move on our part." he explained, "That and the result of this will most likely be us having to lay low, and I'm not used to being a sitting duck."
"Relax." I soothed, "You guys will probably be able to see some action soon." I smiled, "And if you keep yourself alive that means you'll be able to see Sasuke again."
Itachi flushed, and Kisame elbowed him with a wide grin, "Fucking softie."
Itachi turned pointedly, "Then we will go pack then."
"Aw, someone got embarrassed." Kisame mocked as he followed him out.
I glanced at Jugo, "He does have a point; this is a risky move."
"But necessary." he concluded.
"Agreed." I shoved my medical kit into another bag before zipping it up.
"Hinata, do you have pen-" Deidara walked into the room, freezing when he saw my packed bags.
"Need something?" I prompted, "Pencils?"
"Why are you packing?" he pointed to the bags.
With a heavy sigh, I turned to sit on the table; hopefully this wouldn't end poorly, "Deidara, do you like it here?"
He blinked, brow furrowing, "I mean, it gives me a lot of opportunities to use my art." he thought another moment, "And it keeps me busy."
"But, do you like being an Akatsuki member?" I pressed.
His eyes narrowed in suspicion, but he still considered the question regardless, "I don't give a shit about their ideals or plan or whatever."
"Okay, then, what do you think about me?" I posed.
Deidara's eyes widened, and he blushed, "What do you mean by that?"
"It's... what it sounds like?" I quirked a confused brow, "What do you think of me and my ideals?"
