"So he's hot, rides a motorcycle and is flirty? Damn, Sebin, you're one lucky bitch." Jiah sighed, her heavy satoori accent coming out as she picked up her cup of coffee.
The 2 had gotten together and Sebin had told her friend all about 'handsome guy'. Yet she had decided to keep the bloody details to herself.
"Is he single?" Jiah continued, raising an eyebrow.
"I wouldn't recommend you to him." Sebin answered jokingly, cracking a small smile.
"Not for me, for you! You know I have someone in mind already, so as dreamy as this Jaehyun guy may sound, I'm not interested. You should go for him!" The girl beamed.
"Can't you give me some time to cool down? I literally just broke up with Injae like a week ago." Sebin rolled her eyes.
"Sure, sure. You yourself said it wasn't a big deal." Jiah mumbled under her breath. She then put down her cup of coffee and leaned towards her friend again. "But doesn't he sound so mysterious? I mean, he obviously didn't seem to want you to know about him." She wiggled her eyebrows.
Sebin scoffed. "Or maybe he just has a girlfriend. I mean, he's quite attractive, how wouldn't he?"
"You just can't ever think positively, can you?" The girl clicked her tongue. "Did he at least leave any contact info behind? Like a phone number or something?"
Sebin thought hard and then the crashing realization fell upon her.
"No... he didn't."
"You didn't even ask him?" Jiah questioned in bewilderment. The other just shook her head. "Are you dumb?"
Sebin didn't respond as she sipped on her coffee. She also felt quite embarrassed about the fact that she only knew his name, and that's it. She couldn't even get to know him since she had no way to contact him.
'You paid back your debt to him, Sebin. You don't need to contact him again.'
She mentally reassured herself as she tried to forget all about it.➥
"I feel like I'm going to die." The girl whined to herself, looking down at her high heel shoes. Mondays were always the worst for her as she found her way to her apartment from the bus stop quite long and boring. The many people around her did not pay her much mind as they were all too engulfed in their own problems.
Sebin looked backwards as she had nothing better to do and a figure dressed in all black immediately stood out to her.
'Right... he was waiting at the bus stop when I got off my bus.'
Her good memory did not fail her as she turned back around, slightly confused.
'He probably forgot something at home or something.'
She did not think much of it.But as she continuously took turns and slipped in between the many people, she kept feeling more and more uneasy. Her conscience told her to go faster, which she did. And she couldn't help but notice the person behind her speeding up too.
'He's probably also in a rush, hahaha.'
She continued trying to calm herself down, the paranoia really taking a turn on her wellbeing. But as she turned her head yet again, she could only see the countless of other workers marching behind her, bored looks on their faces. Sebin breathed out relieved, and mentally smacked herself for thinking such ridiculous thoughts.
She should seriously stop watching horror movies.
And as she drifted away into her own world, already really close to her house, someone suddenly walked into her.
Sebin shrieked, stumbling backwards as her work purse fell to the ground and a few things such as some makeup and papers fell out.
"Watch where you're going!" She angrily called out and looked up to find a man, dressed all in black with a mask on looking in her direction.
"I'm so sorry, let me help you." His dark, raspy voice seemed apologetic yet quite intimidating. Sebin froze for a few seconds, wondering as he seemed weirdly familiar to her. But as he had already crouched down and began picking up her stuff, she couldn't help but do the same. She hurriedly packed up her purse and closed it as they both stood up.
The girl looked up and found him already staring back at her with his dark, piercing eyes. She felt her stomach churn slightly, yet decided to not think much of it. The stranger lightly bowed his head and Sebin just passed by him.
'Where have I seen him before?'
She thought, her head tilting to the side in confusion.Suddenly, a lightbulb lit up above her head.
'He was really similar to the bus stop guy!'
She snapped her head backwards, yet the masked man was nowhere in sight.
'Here comes the paranoia again. Many people dress in black these days. Stop being delusional, Sebin.'
She just shook her head before walking into her apartment building.Ayeeee
