Taehyung stood by in the surgery room, scrubbing in and surrounding the bed with his colleagues. The lead surgeon ordered him to take charge of Jungkook's vitals, ensuring that his heart and lungs were constantly working, his blood pressure kept at a suitable reading, and his brain producing constant activity. If any of these signs were to slip even slightly, their chances would slim by a truckload.
Things seemed to be going smoothly, or at least as smooth as an emergency brain surgery can go, when a sudden alarm and a single flashing light immediately caught Taehyung attention.
"Sir, blood levels are dropping rapidly." Taehyung stated critically, the lead surgeon immediately seeing the cause when the cavity of the skull started to fill with blood.
"He's haemorrhaging! I need suction and cauterisation immediately. Taehyung, attach a blood drip." The lead surgeon Hoseok said, knowing that Jungkook's body was now in critical condition.
"Come on Jungkook, you're not dying on me now." Taehyung said under his breath, rushing the equipment forwards with steady hands.
They had to be quick.
