It was worse than they thought.
After managing to get the bleeding to stop, Jungkook's vitals had all returned to a satisfactory level, much to the relief of the doctors. But the tumour could not have been in a worse place. In order to avoid further trauma to the brain, they'd have to remove the whole thing and test on it later to check when it was cancerous or benign. They prayed it was benign, because otherwise things could get a whole lot worse.
But when they found that it had put pressure on the boy's spinal chord, they knew that the consequences were unavoidable. If they didn't remove it he would most certainly die, but if they did,
he may be paralysed.
