After searching for two days and making some phone calls, the nurses that were looking after Jungkook failed to find any contact with Jungkook's relatives. The only contact that they did manage to locate was of the patient's best friend and roommate, Jimin.
Jimin sounded distraught once they'd told him the news, even though they tried their best to tell him that Jungkook was safe. His friend then gave them some insight into Jungkook's life, saying he was an orphan with no relatives, and he didn't really have any good friends apart from Jimin himself. This worried the nurses. Stress was a factor that could cause or speed up the growth of tumours, and a potentially mentally unstable patient would be harder to deal with.
They found that Jimin was away with his lover currently, and the nurses made sure to tell Dr Kim that he would be coming to visit in two days.
