For the next few days, if Jungkook ever needed anything or was worried about anything, he would ask for Taehyung. The doctor that he'd grown to trust would pop in every other day for a little chat on how he was doing, but that wasn't enough to satisfy him. Taehyung was very professional and often very strict with the older patients, but so incredibly relaxed and caring around Jungkook, so even the nurses found their growing bond odd but somewhat endearing.
Every time he'd ask for Taehyung, they'd chuckle and shake their heads as they told him that 'Dr Kim was busy', only to leave a childlike pout on the young male's lips. The numbness of his legs was still alien and frightening to Jungkook, but he told himself that he was lucky to even be alive, so as lost as he felt he knew he could at least try to get through this. But he also knew that he couldn't do it alone.
