It had been a week of Jungkook being in a coma, and finally the results of the test on his brain tumour had come back. Taehyung eagerly took the sheet of paper from the nurse who had been sent to give it to him, his heart clenching as he knew that this would decide Jungkook's fate. He almost laughed in relief as the test came back negative, the tumour being benign as he had hoped. The tumour was already located in a rare place in the brain anyway, so for it to be malevolent would have been a total stroke of bad luck.
"At least we have some good news, Kana. We can start the reduction of the medication today, which means he should be awake within the next week. I'll disconnect the ventilator tomorrow." He said to the nurse, who smiled and bowed to him before hurrying off. Taehyung decided to take this moment to go and check on the young male, knowing that in due course, those eyes framed with thick lashes would eventually meet his own. But as a doctor you would always have this underlying anxiety when having to explain to a patient what's happened and their condition, so Taehyung had some stuff to plan.
