It's been a day since you went on that quest with Philia, she promised to send you a message if she needed help with anything and you'd gone back to farming mobs in the Wasteland.
From the info you got from Argo, you understood there was a mid-boss impeding progress to the Labyrinth on this floor that you were now preparing for, and it would be good practice to see if you truly could solo the bosses at this stage...

The reason you're kinda confident you could pull it off is due to three factors: how little a threat Illfang, the boss of the First Floor ended up being for you; that you had again managed to upgrade your equipment a few enhancement levels, at this stage, with info of the Beta, you were confident your equipment would fare well up to floor 7's average mobs without any more modifications; and finally, you were back to the stage where you were killing your grinding mobs in a single hit again for minimal experience.

At this rate, you doubted you'd get enough exp from these mobs to keep up with your levelling quota for the week. And you had heard nothing of anyone else preparing to take it on...
Knowing the average player's equipment and skill level at this rate, you doubted anyone else would willingly try to solo it and would seek a small raid team to help- you'd heard nothing of the sort from your time at the inn, so it'd be better to deal with the mid-boss now and get back to efficient grinding again.
. . . *TIMESKIP TO ARRIVING TO THE SPOT THE MID-BOSS IS MEANT TO SPAWN*
There it is: the Bulbous Cow; a gigantic, four-meter-tall cattle monster with four horns close to the ground, sturdy forelegs and black brown skin.
From the beta, its attack pattern was similar to that of the Trembling Ox and Cow mobs, with a simple attack pattern of rush, turn, rush repeatedly. But if not properly defended against, the rush attack can apparently send the bull's victims flying, with considerable mental impact.
So parrying is probably a waste of time trying, I would be better off just focusing on dodging and attacks of opportunity. I should also avoid using any Sword Skills until I'm safely on the side of it during its rush, so that my Post-Motion delay will end before the bull can turn and try another attack...
Seems like a solid enough strategy, no time like the present I suppose... Let's go!
*STAB* *STAB* *STAB* *backstep*
Well, I definitely got its aggro, and I did decent enough damage I suppose. Looking at its health bar, I estimate that if I kept to 3 hits per phase, I'd be done in about 30 phases. But I could probably whittle that down some depending on how fast it rushes past me- speaking of!
*dodge* *STAB* *STAB* *STAB*
Okay, it's a little faster than I'd like. But if I can get the timing down then this won't be an issue at all, it's just a test of endurance and patience. I have both!
*dodge* *STAB* *STAB* *STAB* *STAB*
Well there's an extra stab in, my Horizontal Slant does a little more damage than my auto attacks, I should try using that when its not on cooldown for these rushes-
