I can't hang out with her though, I promised this party I'd help them. And they messaged to meet today.
She seemed really down about it. But you said you're taking a day, So I've sent Asuna your way.
I probably should have asked first, But the smile on her face when I mentioned you were free...

Y/N: "sigh Well, not necessarily... but someone is coming down to meet me here. And from the sound of it, they'll probably be here soon-"
Lux: "-Oh! So that means that I have to go, before they see me!"
Y/N: "No you don't! You'll be fine if you stay, she's really nice. I promise!"
Lux: "n-No, I'm sorry... i- I'm just too scared! I'm just going to go home now!"
Y/N: "Wait! I'm not going to stop you, but let me at least say goodbye properly!"
Lux had started to walk away from me until I said this, and it was enough to get her to stop and turn back around to face me again with a bright smile on her face. I guess I'm not the only one who enjoys our goodbye rituals then!
*pomf*
Lux then ran back to me and jumped into me, wrapping her arms around my neck, and considering she was quite a bit smaller and daintier than me, her arms struggled to wrap around me whilst her legs were left dangling as she clung to me.
I then reciprocate her actions and place my own arms around my cute little friend, holding Lux close and securing her to myself so that she was no longer at risk of losing her grip and falling to the floor. I then kneel down onto my knees so that Lux's feet could once again reach the floor and she could get a better grip of me with her arms. And the two of us stayed like that for a good couple minutes in a comfortable silence.
