Kirito: "So now Sinon's got the ability to wield a bow too? And you say she just unlocked her skill randomly? So that means... that there's still a chance for us to learn it too!"
Y/N: "Yeah, she can wield a bow now too; just like me. I... Though, I guess it was most likely related to the glitches? Or maybe because she joined the game late? I'm not too sure on that, we might have to wait and see with Leafa, to see if she also gets the skill at some point."
Asuna: "Have we checked to see that she doesn't? Leafa?"
Leafa: "Nope! I let U/N have a look through my skills list and I don't have that same skill tree that Sinon has."
Kirito: "Leafa! You know that you're not supposed to—"
Leafa: "Re–lax! I know the risks, but this is U/N we're talking about! There's nobody more trustworthy with that sorta information, right?"
I watched as Leafa then turned to look at me, a dramatic look of worry on her face like I might just betray her trust and all the secret information on her user stats she's given me... though clearly by the tone in her voice it was purely for comedic effect, she didn't actually harbour any worry for the chance that I might betray her trust in me.
Leafa: "You wouldn't actually do something, would you U/N? You wouldn't sell my info off to Argo or anything, right...?"
Y/N: "Well... I suppose it depends on how much she's offering for that sort of information. A little extra Col never hurt anyone~"
Silica: "wha—? U/N! You wouldn't really sell off somebody's information like that, would you?!"
Lisbeth: "Of course they wouldn't! They're just being ridiculous like usual, they don't need any more Col than they already have anyways, they're like the richest person in all of Aincrad at this point! And do you think Argo would let U/N sell off someone's info like that? Do you think we'd let U/N sell someone's info like that!?"
Silica: "Hehe, I guess not..."
Rain: "...You sure have a lot of girl's private information, don't you U/N? It's quite strange..."
Klein: "Hah! Kirito and U/N both! It seems like the both of them have pretty damn extensive listings of the female player base here, more so than anyone else in the group... it's just not fair!!"
Yui: "It is quite peculiar... the overwhelming majority of logged players are male, about 90% when rounded to a neat figure. However, within this particular group, it is the males who find themselves outnumbered by a very dramatic scale."
Sinon: "I'm not sure that 'peculiar' is the word I would use..."
Kirito: "h–Hey now! What's with all the looks?! Don't lump me in with Klein!"
Klein: "Damn, that's cold... I thought you were my bro, Kirito..."
Having seemed to have escaped persecution in this particular topic, I did my best to minimise my presence, to avoid any questions being directed at me. Because, after all, I was pretty much in the same boat as Kirito. Most of my friends' list was filled with female players. I think I only have four male players on my friends' list, and three of them are in this room right now: that being Agil, Kirito and Klein. I've no idea where Naut is, I've not seen him since before Christmas, when Yuna was all mopey about their falling out.
But even still, despite my best efforts to minimise my presence from the rest of the group, I felt three separate pairs of eyes remain on me throughout the conversation. Three people who weren't joining in on the mocking and persecution of Klein and Kirito. Two of them were rather surprising to not be taking advantage of the situation, whilst the other was the norm.
