Amethyst POV
    Being up as the sun rises is a sure pain in the ass but there's something I need to do at this hour. Pearl usually gets up hella early so I had no choice but to be up at 6 am. Everyone has to be dead asleep for this to work and I definitely won't be getting any quiet if pearl is yelling at me.
     I quietly make my way to the living area where I see lapis and peri sleeping soundly. Peri always seemed like the small spoon so it was weird to see the opposite. Not like it mattered though. I carefully pull out my phone and line up the perfect shot making sure not to wake them. I click the button and the small light from the flash flickers over them. I didn't think the flash was on but the only thing I can do now is silently freak out.
    Peridot immediately shuffles in her sleep but she quickly relaxes once she realizes lapis was in her arms. I don't dare move a muscle until I'm sure she's settled down though. That would ruin the perfect opportunity to have a black mail pic on the little couple.
    A short while after I start to move away again ever so slightly. After a lot of sneaking out in the nights I can proudly say I am a freaking ninja. Once I'm safely back in my room I tuck under my covers in case I need to pretend to be asleep and I send the picture to peridot so that she can see it when she wakes up. I also send a short message to go along with my master piece, something so thoughtful it's a work of art.
"ha gay"
 
Lapis POV
    I didn't sleep over at my friends houses often mostly because I didn't have friends. This meant that whenever I wake up anywhere I just end up extremely confused for the 2-3 minutes that my brain is starting up. When I woke up I was mostly confused as to why I was on the floor so I sat up and looked around. Unfortunately I also forgot I was being cuddled and woke peridot up.
"What's up why we no cuddle"
    She sure is cute when she's barely waking up though so I'm not too mad about it.
"Sorryyyy I forgot where I was for a second and woke you up by accident"
"We are in bed"
"Actually we are Stevens"
"But in bed"
"We were in sleeping bags on the ground"
"If you sleep in it it's bed"
"Whatever you say peri"
    She sat up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she processed everything. There's something so cute about seeing someone who's typically really smart act all stupid which is why I love waking her up.
"Is pearl up yet?"
"Not sure I just woke up too"
"Yes I'm up I just didn't want to wake either of you yet"
    We turned around and spotted pearl preparing something for breakfast.
"You two should get up though it's getting late, I expected lapis to sleep in but I didn't think the early bird would be put under bad influence"
"She hates it when I get up early so I ended up getting used to her sleep schedule"
    Peridot used to be up super early for no reason but thanks to the amazing thing that is cuddling she no longer wants to be out of bed.
"I'm not a bad influence I'm just improving her sleep she needs the extra hour"
With that we finally get up shake off any lingering stiffness from sleeping on what essentially was semi soft floor.
"Is everyone up yet?"
"I think amethyst is still asleep but she never wakes up at a decent hour"
    Knowing amethyst I knew that she wouldn't be the type to be up bright and early.
"Well it looks like I found the reason she's extra tired"
"What is it?"
"AMETHYST DELETE THAT PICTURE RIGHT NOW"
    Peridot quickly sprints to amethyst's room basically fuming I check her phone to see what had made her that mad and see a picture of us sleeping with the text "ha gay" attached.
"What was that about"
"Apparently amethyst woke up super early to take a picture of me and peridot sleeping. She then sent it to peridot"
"Ugh I don't know I'm going to do with her she's always pulling things like this"
"That's just how she is"
"I wish it wasn't"
    Amethyst suddenly burst into the room holding her phone and peridot chased after her through the whole house.
"DELETE IT"
"No way in hell am I getting rid of something this good"
Amethyst wasn't super athletic but peridot was in worse shape and quickly ended up out of breathe and on the ground.
"I thought you wanted the phone"
"shut up"
    I stand up and sneak behind amethyst while she's distracted I grab her phone and hold it over my head.
"Hey that's not fair height advantage is cheating"
"Thats tough"
I don't know amethysts password but I'm it can't be too hard.
"Peri what's the passcode"
"000000"
"How secure"
    I unlock the phone and scroll to the picture. I delete it as well as the one in trash. Once I'm done I hand it back to amethyst.
"Oh no you've deleted it whatever will I do"
"What?"
"If only I had uploaded a copy into my account and saved another copy on my laptop"
"OH COME ON"
    Peri at this point had accepted defeat.
"Sorry short stack I always come prepared"
"Alright stop fighting breakfast is ready"
Pearl made waffles and Steven had helped cut the strawberries. Naturally this meant that Steven claimed that he had made breakfast. Everything still tasted good and it was a nice note to end the visit on.
"Come back and visit soon okay"
"Yes Steven we'll be back"
"Okay but make it realllll soon"
"Okay Steven we have to go"
    I picked him up in a hug and kissed him on the forehead. Peri also said her goodbyes and we headed back to the car.
"That was exhausting"
"Don't tell me you didn't enjoy it"
"Hey most fun things are tiring"

I really should stop updating these at midnight but that's when the ideas be flowing
