Lies
JAYNE'S POV
"You said we had detention." I said walking towards the door. "I lied, I got Snape to drop the detention." he said. "Why?" I asked. He opened his mouth but I cut him off. "Actually I don't want to know. Thank you. I should go" I said. He blocked my path. "Go where exactly?" he asked. "None of your-" I started. "Well I said I'd make sure you find Blaise after our detention. So I plan to follow through on that. Unless there is a reason I shouldn't?" he asked. I stared at the floor. He was trying to get me to tell him. He knows something happened. I had to get out of here. I can't lie to him much longer. "What do you want from me Malfoy?" I asked. "The truth would be nice." he said. "I don't know what you mean" I said pushing past him but he grabbed my wrist. I tried to pull away but he just held tighter. "Let me go." I said, my voice became shaky. "Tell me what happened with Blaise." he said, pulling me to face him. "Nothing," I said, my voice cracking. "Why are you so afraid of him?" Draco said. "I'm not, now let go," I said, trying to pull my wrist from his grasp. My head filled with images from that night. I couldn't make it stop. I wanted it to stop but he wouldn't let go. "Jayne please just-" he started and I yanked my arm away and pushed him away from me. "Shut up!" I screamed. Draco's eyes went wide and he stumbled back. "Nothing happened so let it go." I said and took my opportunity to run out of the classroom. I ran all the way to my room and collapsed back on my chair. I still can't get on my bed. I watched the minutes tick down until curfew and I waited for his knock. I can feel myself panic and wanting to scream but it's like my body is numb to it. Then I hear him. He walks in and smirks at me, leaning against my door frame. I just stare at him. I'm absolutely screaming on the inside but I can't move, I can't do anything. "I believe you owe me something," he said, shutting the door behind him. He starts unbuckling his belt and my mind like jumpstarts. I can't do it again. I have to do something. I have to try to stop it. "No" I choked out standing up. He stood towering over me. I clenched my fists to hide their shaking. "What was that?" he said. "No, I said no. You need to leave Blaise, or I'll" I started. "You'll what? What are you going to do?" he mocked. He gripped the back of my neck and pulled my face close to his. "Get on your knees or I'll make you," he said. He let go and I stumbled back. "No Blaise I don't-" I started but then I felt it. His fist first makes contact with my face, smashing my cheekbone. Then it's my ribs and I lose the air in my lungs as the pain takes over. I collapse to the floor gasping for air. He grabbed me by my hair and pulled me up to my knees and muttered and incantation. I was frozen in place. There was pain radiating throughout my whole body but I was frozen on my knees. He used a spell. He stood in front of me and my face was right in front of his bulge. He chuckled and looked down on me. "Let's put that pretty little mouth to use" he said and unzipped his pants pulling them down to reveal his erection. He stroked it in front of my face and the tears fell. "Be a good girl now," he said. I did. I did what he wanted. I hated myself even more. I did exactly what he told me to do. Maybe I did want this. If I didn't I would have gotten myself out of it. I deserved this. "I hope you've learned your lesson" he said as he freed me from the incantation. I just nodded and he walked out. I curled up in a ball on the floor and stayed there. The pain in my body was too intense to move. Every part of me ached. I stayed there until the sun rose and my alarm went off. Then I gathered the strength to get up. I stood in front of the mirror and looked at my bruised ribs. Good things the shirt will hide this. Now the black eye. I tried a glamour spell but it wouldn't work. My magic hasn't been the best lately considering it requires focus and I can't really do that. I didn't have anyone to ask so I sucked it up and headed to find Cami or Kenz. I was lucky and didn't have to go far. I found them in the bathroom and they didn't look happy to see me. I walked in and they immediately glared. "What do you want Jayne?" Kenz said. "I know you guys are upset at me but I need a favor." I said moving my hair out of the way to reveal the black eye. "Bloody hell Jayne!" Cami yelled. "Who did this to you?" Kenz said. "It's nothing. I'm fine. I'm just a little out of focus so my glamour spell isn't working. Can you do it?" I asked. "Jayne you are not fine, you are hurt! What happened?" Kenz said. "It's nothing," I said quietly. Their faces fell. "Don't be dumb Kenz, why would you trust a Slytherin" Cami mocked. "No That's not it, I just- I can't" I started. Cami walked over and pulled out her wand pointing it at my face and muttering a spell. "There, now leave us alone" Cami spat and they walked out. My heart sank. "I'm so sorry," I said softly. "I'm so sorry" I whispered to myself as I walked out. I went to the Great Hall to try to eat but yet again failed. There was this gnawing ache in my stomach that can only be fixed by eating, but I just couldn't do it. "Jayne, where the hell have you been?" I looked up to see my concerned Gryffindor friends standing behind me. They were my pack. They cared about me through it all yet I struggled to even look at harry. I was disgusted with myself. If he ever found out what Blaise did, he would hate me. They all would. I looked up as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville and even the twins standing there. "We have been worried sick." Hermione said. "You just disappeared," Ginny said. "Ya, sorry I-" I started but was cut off by him. "Get out of here Gryffindors unless you want some more time with the quill" Blaise said strolling up to them. He stood next to me and my hands started shaking. I quickly hid them in my pockets before anyone could see. "I'm talking to Jayne, she's our family unlike you snakes" Ginny snapped. Harry grabbed her arm to keep her from pouncing. " Well let's ask Jayne'' Blaise said. His arm snaked around my waist and he dug his nails into my hip. I clenched my teeth to keep from wincing. "I have to go, I'm sorry" I said looking directly at Harry. He stared at me. Everyone else just looked sad. I quickly turned to walk away but I heard Blaise call after me as I left. "Good girl, she's learning," he said. My friends sat down and Blaise went and sat with his crew. He won again. Or so he thought.
DRACO'S POV
When Blaise sat down after his confrontation with Jayne and the Gryffindors he was so smug. I wanted to beat him bloody. I know he did something to Jayne but I don't know what. I'd had enough. I waited a few minutes and then made my move. I sent Harry a message using legilimency. Harry, It's Draco. Meet me in the hallway. It's about Jayne. He looked up at me, confused at first but then he nodded. I got up to go when I heard Blaise. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Bathroom, wanna come?" I said. Our friends just laughed and he did too. I walked out and Harry stood there in the hallway. "I'm worried about Jayne." we both said at the exact same time. "Me first." I said and he nodded. "Ever since her first night back at Slytherin she has been different, she is all cagey, she is terrified of Blaise. And she won't talk to me, at all" I said. "Well maybe that's because you broke her heart" he scoffed. "Seriously Potter? That's where you want to go right now?" I asked. "Yes" he said plainly. I rolled my eyes. "I don't know why but Jayne loved you Malfoy. Did it ever occur to you how hard it was for her to love you? She defended you constantly and you treated her like shit. Then you broke her heart when it's obvious you still love her" he said. I stared at him trying to see if he was bluffing or if he actually knew I loved her. "I don't love her, I played her too-" I started. "Yeah you played her to get to Dumbledore's Army. I know what the story is, the only problem...I call bullshit." he said. "Oh yeah" I said, staring at him. "Yeah, because if you loved her why do you care about any of this?" he asked. "You know what Potter, do you want my help or not?" he asked. Potter smirked at me. "Fine, Jayne is like my sister. And she is incredible, why she loves you I don't know but if you want to lose her that's fine she deserves better anyway. Now we can talk about what you want, you were saying." he said. "I think Blaise did something to her." I said keeping my voice low. His entire demeanor changed. "What" he growled. "Listen I tried to talk to her but she shut down. I have an idea though, funny enough something she did to get me to let her in." I said, remembering the first time I ever let someone in. "What is it?" Potter asked hesitantly. "I don't think she could lie to both of us at once. I think if we got her alone, where she is safe from Blaise, she might tell us." I said. Potter was quiet for a moment, he was thinking. "Gryffindor tower. Blaise can't get to her there. I'll get her there, just be there at 8 tonight ok?" he asked. I nodded. "Quick say something rude" whispered. I looked confused but then I saw Blaise walking out of the Great Hall. I quickly pushed past Potter making sure to hit his shoulder and yelled loud enough for everyone to hear "My father will hear about this"
