JAYNE'S POV
He looked like a snake. His skin was white and his nose was like 2 slits. I just stared at him in shock. "So this is the girl that made you a failure Draco?" he said. Draco said nothing. He just looked down. "You are to answer the Dark Lord when he speaks to you!" Lucius yelled. "No My Lord," Draco said quietly. "Interesting. So why did you fail?" he asked. "He's weak." Bellatrix said. "Pathetic," Lucius added. Voldemort just nodded. He walked closer to me and drew his wand. He placed it under my chin and lifted it up forcing me to look at him. "Jayne Black. You are Sirius Black's daughter, correct?" he asked. I was frozen but I just nodded. "That must mean you and Harry Potter are very close. Sirius is Harry's godfather if I'm not mistaken." he said. I didn't say anything. "No need to answer little girl, I already know." he said. Bellatrix and Lucius laughed. "Can I kill her now?" Bellatrix asked. Voldemort turned. "No. She is our back up plan." he said to them. I looked at Theo. "What?" I choked out. "You are our back up plan little girl. If all else fails, we can use you to lure Harry Potter here." he said. I felt a lump in my throat and I felt sick. My eyes watered. Voldemort walked over to Draco. "What to do with you?" he asked. "My Lord, we punished him. Please let him prove his loyalty to you." Narcissa pleaded. Lucius glared at her. Voldemort paused. "Very well" he said. He pointed his wand at the ropes on Dracos wrists and they disappeared. "Stand up," he said. Draco stood and Voldemort handed Draco his wand. "Prove to me that you no longer care for them." he said gesturing towards me and Theo. Draco's face fell as he looked at me. "What?" he asked. "Crucio them both. That will prove your loyalty to me." he said. Voldemort stepped back and pushed Draco forward. He stood in front of me and looked into my eyes. I nodded and mouthed "Do it" His eyes watered and a tear fell. "It's ok," I mouthed and nodded my head. He wiped the tear and pointed the wand at me. "Crucio" he said, it was barely audible. The spell hit me and I felt the pain. It wasn't as bad as Bellatrix but it still hurt. I screamed as it covered my whole body. "Stop!" Theo screamed. Then it broke. I gasped for air trying to catch my breath. There were tears on Draco's cheeks as he walked in front of Theo. He pointed the wand at Theo and paused. Theo nodded at him and he mumbled the spell. "Crucio," he said. Theo thrashed in his seat as the spell hit him, he was screaming in pain. I closed my eyes and cried. "Please enough. He did it. Enough!" I yelled. Draco stopped and stepped back, looking at Voldemort. "Well done," he said. "Thank you My Lord," Draco said weakly. They all started to leave. Theo's head hung down and his body was trembling. "Please untie me, I need to check that he's ok." I begged. Draco started to turn but Lucius pushed him up the stairs. They all walked out and locked the door. "Theo!" I yelled. Nothing. "Theo, wake up" I yelled. I heard the gate creak open and my head whipped up. I expected to see Draco but it was Narcissa. "Mrs. Malfoy?" I asked. "Shhh. Dear I'm so sorry." she said. She pulled her wand and the ropes on my wrists fell. I rubbed the deep marks and untied my ankles. She had untied Theo and was running a diagnostic on him. I ran over to his chair and shook him. "Theo" I whispered, moving his hair from his face. The sweat coated his body. His hands were trembling. "Where's Draco?" I asked. "My husband isn't letting him out of his sight for a while. I'll try to come down later with food." she said. "Why are you helping us?" I asked. "You care for my son. And he cares for you. I don't want him to lose you." she said. "I don't want to lose him either." I said. She nodded. "Theodore is ok. He is just unconscious." she said. We pulled him off the chair and laid him down. "He'll wake up soon." she said. I nodded. "Thank you." I said. She nodded and disappeared. I pulled Theo's head onto my lap and stroked his hair. "I'm so sorry Theo. Please wake up. I'm scared." I said. A tear fell from cheek and onto his. I kissed his forehead and leaned against the wall. I looked at our surroundings. There was only one window with bars on it. I zoned out and tried to sleep. Then I heard the gate open again. I looked up and it was Narcissa. Theo was still asleep. "Is he still out?" she asked. I nodded. "Here" she said, handing me a bottle. "What is it?" I asked. "Smelling salts. Put it under his nose. It should wake him up." she said. I uncapped it and placed it under his nose. Theo's eyes opened and his head shot up. He almost fell back down and I grabbed his shoulders. "Slow down Theo" I said. I laid him back down. "I brought you guys some food and water," Narcissa said, handing us a napkin with bread and cheese and a container of water. Theo and I quickly ate and drank. "Thank you so much." I said. She nodded. "I put some sleeping draught in Lucius's whiskey tonight so he won't wake up. I'll send Draco down as soon as he's asleep." she said. I smiled and hugged her. "Thank you. Thank you so much ''I said, choking back tears. "You should rest dear. Draco will go down as soon as he can." she said. I nodded and she left. Theo looked confused. "She is helping us?" he asked. "Ya, you were unconscious after the torture. She helped you. She wants to help us. She said she doesn't want Draco to lose me." I said. Theo nodded. "Draco told me his mother was special, he was right." I said. "We have to be careful though Jayne. We can't trust everyone." he said. I nodded.
