Trouble
DRACO'S POV
From the second I saw Jayne Black, I knew she was going to be trouble. From the second she walked into Diagon Alley, I have heard her name non stop. I knew her first name, that she was Sirius Black's daughter, and starting at Hogwarts this year before I even met her. I know I will have fun with her. It's only a matter of time. I am Draco Malfoy after all.
I arrived at Platform 9 ¾ today at 2:30. The train doesn't leave until 3 but I like to be there early. It ensures I get the best compartment. I put my luggage away and walked through the aisle of the train looking for a good compartment. The train was fairly empty but it was filling up. As I walked past a compartment, I saw those long brown curls. She wore a black slip dress with lace on the bottom and shimmery tights with high heeled boots. She sat by the window reading a book. I wasn't sure but it looked like she was crying. Before I could stop myself, I had opened the door.
JAYNE'S POV
I have been sitting in a compartment on the train alone forever. I arrived at the platform early so I had time to get lost. As I was walking towards the train, I saw a dog run into a room and then Harry followed. Of course. How could daddy dearest not see the great Harry Potter off. As I was putting my luggage away, I saw my uncle scanning the crowd. I ran over to him and gave him a hug. "Hey Jayne! Are you excited? Do you have everything?" he asked. "Yes, I'm excited but also quite nervous about getting sorted. And yes I have everything. I checked. 3 times." I said and we laughed. "Listen Jayne, your father feels really bad. He wanted to come here to see you before you left but then it was decided that it was too risky. I'm so sorry Jayne." he said. Right as he finished his sentence, my father walked out of the room and disappeared. Uncle Remus sighed as he saw what happened. I laughed at the ridiculous timing. "Anything for the chosen on right" I said as tears filled my eyes. "Oh Jayne-" he started. "It's fine. I'm fine. I'm going to go. I want to get a good seat. I'll write to you" I said. I gave him a quick hug and rushed away.
I had just stopped crying and was staring out the window when I heard the door open. I turned around and there he was. The boy from the bookstore. Malfoy. Before he could say anything, 3 other boys walked up behind him and looked at me. "Is this her?" one asked. Draco nodded. "Damn, you were right. I wonder how many guys will hit that" the other said. Ugh, boys and their testerone. "I'm Blaise Zabini, that's Crabbe and Goyle and you met Malfoy'' one said, sitting entirely too close to me and putting his arm around me. I felt a pit in my stomach as his hand moved on my skin. The other two sat across from us. Draco just stood in the doorway staring at me like I was an unsolvable puzzle. "So how come we have never seen you before?" Goyle asked. "I'm new. I just transferred from Beauxbatons." I said calmly lifting his arm off of me. "Is it true that you're a Black. Sirius Blacks daughter?" Blaise asked, now putting his hand on my thigh. I'm not dealing with this right now. "Yup, my dads a murderer and you're starting to make me want to be one too. Bye now" I spat and grabbed my bag exiting the compartment. As I walked away, I heard them laughing. By now almost every compartment was full. Eventually, the train started so I slipped into the nearest compartment. I opened the door and saw the boy in there. He was gorgeous. "Excuse me, I'm sorry, is it ok if I sit here?" I asked holding on to the door to stay standing. "Of course" he said and I sat down. "I'm Cedric Diggory by the way, what's your name?" he asked. Here it comes... "I'm Jayne Black" I said softly. "Woah, I heard rumors that Sirius Blacks daughter was here. I wasn't sure if it was true." he said. "Yeah word travels fast around here" I said. "You got that right. People have known you existed for like a day and almost every guy wants you" he said laughing. I felt my cheeks turn red. "I get it though you are absolutely gorgeous" he said looking at me. His eyes were amazing. His jawline could cut glass and his arms were like they had been carved in marble. "Thank you," I said softly. "So since you're new, should I tell you about Hogwarts? And I mean the real stuff not the history of it" he asked. "That would be great," I said. Cedric told me about the 4 houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. I was curious of what house I would get. I secretly hoped to not get Gryffindor because I want to avoid Harry as much as possible. Cedric also told me about quidditch, the teachers, everything. We talked about so much that the next thing I knew we had arrived. Cedric stood up and opened the door for me. We walked out together and I stared at the castle. It was beautiful. Even more than I had dreamed. "It's amazing isn't it?' Cedric asked. "It's incredible," I said. "Are you ready?" he asked. I took a deep breath. "Yes" and we walked towards the carriages. Cedric helped me into the carriage and we sat together. As it pulled away, I saw Draco. His jaw was clenched and his knuckles were white. I felt his death stare. Why was he upset? It's not my fault his friends were hitting on me. I can already tell that boy will be a big trouble for me. But I don't care. Maybe it's time for a little trouble. I am the Good Girl Gone Bad after all. Time for a little chaos.
