Chapter 98

JAYNE'S POV

"Neville?!" Harry said. I smiled. "You look..." he started. "Like hell I reckon." he said. We all greeted each other. I gave him a hug. "I've missed you." I said. He smiled. We started walking into the secret passage and Neville was telling us about school. "How bad is it with Snape as headmaster?" Harry asked. Their voice trailed off as I remembered Snapes face while I was tortured. He wasn't a bad guy. I just wanted to tell Harry. But I couldn't. "They had us practicing cruciatus curse. On first years." Neville said. A chill went down my spine as the memories filled my head. Nobody should have to feel the pain of the cruciatus curse. Especially not children. "Hogwarts has changed." Neville said sadly. We got to another portrait and he opened it. There sat a room full of students. They sat on mattresses and blankets. Each had bruises and cuts on them. "Listen up you lot, I've got a surprise." he said. "Not more of Aberforths cooking, it's be a surprise if we can digest it" Seamus said. Neville stepped to the side and they all saw Harry. "Blimey" Seamus said. Everyone stood up and cheered. We climbed down a ladder and onto the floor. Dean and Theo saw eachother and I nudged him forward. They hugged tightly. Then Dean kissed him. Everyone stared at them and smiled. They pulled apart from eachother and blushed. I smiled so hard. "Don't ever scare me like that again" Dean said. Theo chuckled. "I won't. I won't leave you" he whispered. Luna stepped forward and I hugged her. She had gone back to school only a few days after we escaped. "How are you?" I asked. "Very well, how are you Jayne?" she asked. I just nodded. "I'm better." I said. She smiled. "Get the word out to Remus and the others that harry's back." Neville said. "Uncle Moony will be here?" I asked. Neville smiled and nodded at me. "Alright, what's the fun Harry?" Neville asked. Harry went on to explain the horcruxes. "There's something we need to find. Something hidden here in the castle. It might help us defeat you-know-who." he said. "What is it?" Neville asked. "We don't know." Harry said. "Where is it?" he asked again. "We don't know what either." he said. They all stared at him. "I realize it's not much to go." Harry said. "That's nothing to go on." Seamus said. I nodded at him. "It has something to do with ravenclaw, I think. Any ideas." Harry asked. Silence. "Well there's Rowena Ravenclaws lost diadem." Luna said softly. "Oh Bloody Hell, here we go." Ron said. I elbowed him. "Can someone tell me what a bloody diadem is?" Theo asked. "It's a crown, like a tiara." Cho said. We heard a rumbling then someone ran in. The group of people parted and I saw Ginny. "Harry" she gasped. "Hi there," he said. Ron scoffed. "Six months she hasn't seen me and it's like I'm Frankie first year. I'm only her brother." he said. "Yeah, but she's got lots of those. There's only one Harry" Seamus said. Me and Theo laughed. "Shut up Seamus." he snapped. "What is it Ginny?" Neville asked. "Snape knows, he knows Harry was spotted in Hogsmeade." she said. "Shit" I mumbled. "We are all being summoned to the great hall." she said. "Ok, listen up." Harry said. We all turned to him. "Go, go and stay calm. Don't be suspicious." Harry said. They all grabbed their robes and left. Harry put one on too. "Where are you going?" I asked. "To confront him." I asked. "Harry-" I started. "He killed him Jayne. Dumbledore trusted him and he killed him." Harry said. I tried to stop him but he stormed out and blended in with the students. Theo hugged me. "He'll be fine." he whispered. Then the portrait opened. In walked the order. Uncle Moony, Tonks, Molly, Arthur, Bill, Fleur, Fred, George and Kingsley. "Uncle Moony" I yelled. I ran over and jumped into his arms. His hugged me and spun me around. "I thought I would never see you again." I choked out. "It's ok. You're safe. I'm here." he said. "Uncle Moony, did Harry-" I started. "No, but I spoke with Fleur. I'm so sorry. You are so strong." he said. His eyes watered. "I love you so much Uncle Moony. You and Harry are the only family I have left." I said. "I love you too, it's ok. I'm here and I won't leave you." he whispered. I then hugged Tonks and Molly and Arthur. "Where's our hug Darling?" Fred and George asked. I laughed and hugged the tall redheads. "Thank you for taking care of her" Uncle Moony said to Theo. He nodded and shook his hand. "She took care of me too." he said. "Are you guys ready?" Neville asked. We walked throught the castle and the portraits stared at us. Then we burst into the great hall with our wands drawn. "It's seems you still have a bit of a security problem headmaster." harry said. I stood in between Theo and Dean as I watched Harry. "How dare you stand where he stood? Tell them how it happened that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man that trusted you and killed him." he yelled. Snape pulled his wand at Harry. I tried to run forward but Theo and Dean grabbed me. 'No" theo whispered. Then Professor McGonagall pushed Harry out of the way. The teachers casts spells at eachother then Snape disappeared into a cloud of black. "Coward!" McGonagall yelled. She lit the room up and everyone cheered. Then it hit us. The room went cold and filled with screams of a little girl. Then we all heard it. Voldemort's voice. He told us to give up Harry and we wouldn't have to fight and be harmed. Then it stopped. "What are you waiting for? Someone grab him" Pansy yelled. I ran forward and me and Ginny stood in front of Harry. "Try it bitch" I spat. Blaise stood next to Pansy and I pointed my wand at both of them.I was ready to kill him. I wanted to. Then I was interrupted. "Student's out of bed! Students in the corridor!" Filch yelled running in. We all stared at him strangely. "They are supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot. " McGonagall yelled. "Sorry ma'am" he mumbled. "As it so happens you're arrival is most opportune" she said. "Please lead Miss Parkinson and the rest of Slytherin house to the dungeons if you please." she said. "I'll help" I said. "Me too" Theo added. "So will I" Dean said. Pansy scoffed at me. "Thank you" McGonagall said. I nodded. We kept our wands drawn as we started to lead them away. Harry stopped me. "Remember to stay with Theo. I'll find you as soon I find and destroy the horcrux." he said. I nodded and gave him a hug. "I love you harry. Please don't die. I need you." I said. "I love you too." he whispered. Then I ran and caught up with Theo and Dean. We walked down to the dungeons and the Slytherins started filling them up. Then I saw Cami and Kenz. "Wait!" I yelled. They turned and ran towards me. I hugged them. "You don't have to go in there." I said. "But McGonangall said" Cami started. "I trust you guys." I said. They smiled. "Go find my Uncle Remus Lupin. Tell him you know me. He can tell you guys what to do ok?" I said. They nodded. "Got it" Kenz said. I hugged them once more. "Be safe" Cami said. "Look out for eachother, stay together." I said and they left. Dean and Theo shut the doors to the dungeon locking them inside. "Let us out of here you filthy half-blood" Pansy yelled. "Go to hell pansy" I said. We started to leave. "Where's your boyfriend Jayne?" Blaise yelled out. I stopped in my tracks. "Did you guys know Draco is a death eater?" he said. "Shut up" I snapped. "He was the one that let the death eaters into the school." he added. "Shut up" I said louder. "And he even helped kill Dumbledore." Blaise said. "Shut up" I ylled. I stormed ovr and pointed ,my wand at his throat throught the bars of the door. "I should crucio you for what you've done." I said sharply. Blaise stared me down. Theo walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Don't do it. Don't be like them." he whispered. I glared at Blaise. "Silencio" I said. Blaise tried to talk but no sound came out. "What was that? I didn't hear you" I said smugly. Then I walked away and Dean and Theo followed me laughing
