People who liked books were thought to like cats. It was an aesthetic. The Host however was thought to despise all forms of life. He sat in the library muttering to himself. Wilford walked in humming. He spotted The Host and froze. "What do we have here?"

The Host did not move, narrating a couple having a fight somewhere in Ohio. Wilford ignored him and focused on the creature in his lap. There was a small black cat curled up in his lap, purring to itself. "Why hello there," Wilford whispered, reaching out to touch it. The Host grabbed Wilford's wrist before he could do anything. "The Host advises Wilford Warfstache not to touch his things."

Wilford giggled. "Your things? A cat?"

The Host growled and the cat looked up. It hopped out of his lap and walked away. The Host did not move and Wilford gulped. "Since when did you have a cat."

"Jameson Jackson is not a cat-"

"Oh, he's a Neko?"

The Host turned to where Wilford was staring. A man with a blue waistcoat and bowler hat walked over to them. His tail flicked behind him and he smiled at the two. "Jameson Jackson is what you would call a Neko."

Wilford pulled his hand away from the Host and waved. "Why hello! Yer quite the cutie."

The Host stood up and Wilford waved him off. "Relax I was giving him a compliment. I ain't gonna take your man."

Jameson smiled at him and patted The Host on the shoulder. "Well I just came in here for a book seems I can't do anything in this house. I'll leave you and your boyfriend to it!"

"Wilford Warfstache means to bug The Host but it is the truth."

Wilford laughed. "You with him? I mean you look nice didn't-" Wilford choked and dropped to the floor. Jameson jumped and turned to The Host, smacking his arm. Wilford took a deep breath and stood up. "Well, I'll be going bye-bye."

Wilford ran quickly and Jameson frowned. The Host wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him closer. "The Host apologies."

Jameson nodded and leaned back into this chest. The Host sat back down in his chair pulling Jameson into his lap. "The Host tells his love that he knows Jameson doesn't like it when The Host uses violence. He apologizes again to his love. Jameson is put at ease, forgetting the encounter."

Jamesons eyes fogged over and he shook his head. He blinked up at The Host and smiled. "Would Jameson Jackson like to hear a story?"

Jameson smiled and nodded, the past encounter already forgotten. Like most things, The Host didn't see fit for his boyfriend to keep.
