Day twenty

Actor laughed as he shook his wings off and stepped into the cave. Another heist gone right! He looked around and blinked at the treasure pile. He had only stepped into the cave     to get out of the rain and find the jackpot. The cave was filled with gold coins and jewels. He dropped his bag and took a step forward. Only to be stopped when something hissed behind him.

He gasped and turned around to see a huge creature hissing at him. It had half a long snake-like body that led up to a human half. It had on a torn jacket and nothing else. Its eyes glowed a dark green and claws sprouted from his fingers.

Actor gulped and took a step back. "Foolish humans entering my home. You'll make a wonderful snack." The creature growled, its long tongue flicking out.

Actor squeaked and shielded himself with his wings. The creature gasped. "You're like me."

Actor blinked and peeked through his wings to stare at the creature. He chirped and shielded his face again when the snake reached out. He gasped when the creature ran its claw down his wing. "Please don't. Not there."

The creature pulled its claw away. "I'm sorry."

Actor shook and slowly pulled his wings back. The creature was staring at him in amazement. "Who are you?"

"My name is Actor."

The snake-like creature tilted its head. "I'm Anti."

Actor nodded. "You're a snake."

Anti giggled. "And you're a bird."

Actor nodded and laughed nervously. Anti grinned and placed a claw on Actors\'s chest. He let out a hiss. "Warm."

Actor nodded. "Yeah, I tend to be."

Anti smiled at him. "Little thief."

Actor froze. "I um I won't steal your stuff I promise."

Anti nodded and leaned closer to him, his eyes glowing brighter. Actor stared at him, not noticing the tail that was curling around him. Anti put a hand against Actor's cheek and flicked his tongue out. "My thief."

Actor blinked and gasped as he felt that Antis' tail had fully wrapped around him. Anti giggled and dragged him further into the cave. Actor struggled against the tail. Eventually, he went limp as he was dragged. He groaned as he was tossed onto some soft material. He looked around to see it was some sort of nest made of blankets.

Anti slithered back over to him and laid on his chest. "Oh hi," Actor said.

Anti nuzzled into his chest and let out a sigh. "My thief will keep me warm and give me shiny things."

"I will?"

Anti nodded. "If you don't I'll eat you."

Actor nodded. "Yeah, I'll do that."

Anti smiled and lay back down. Actor sighed and patted Anti's head. He stared up at the cave ceiling wondering if he would ever escape. And if he wanted to.
