As I hopped out of the back of Tristan's truck, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders.

Not having to deal with Adam anymore was going to take away some very unnecessary stress and drama out of my life.

I walked up the round driveway, following as Tristan pulled his keys out.

He opened the door and let me in, following close behind. Guiding my hips he walked over and turned on the foyer lights, and I blinked slowly as my eyes adjusted to my new surroundings.

I felt a tingling feeling everywhere a second later when Tristan whispered in my ear.

"Welcome to Casa O'Connell."

He stepped around me smirking and I barely heard Nate saying something about going to clean his face.

I couldn't focus on anything but Tristan.

When I was hanging with Nate earlier, we were just in his room, so Tristan took the opportunity to give me a grand tour of the house, which ended with us standing in front of a really big-looking garage.

Tristan put in a code and the large door slid up and my mind was instantly blown when the automatic lights turned on.

"No way..."

As I walked into Tristan's homemade skatepark, I couldn't help but look at all of Tristan's old boards that were on the wall, thinking about all the time we spent skating together when we were younger

As I walked into Tristan's homemade skatepark, I couldn't help but look at all of Tristan's old boards that were on the wall, thinking about all the time we spent skating together when we were younger.

"I can't believe this is in your backyard."

"I guess Mom and Dad felt a little guilty over moving me during Senior year, but I honestly don't mind."

"Oh, yeah?"

I sat at the edge of the bowl and dangled my legs in, tucking my hands under my thighs nervously when Tristan sat next to me closer than I had expected.

He nodded slowly with a far-off look on his face as he smiled. I bit my lip when I saw his left dimple come out and I felt my heart swoon when he smiled at me.

"Bunni, I missed you... so much."

His voice was deep and a little scratchy when he said it and all I wanted was to feel his lips on mine again.

"I missed you too, Tris."

It felt like we were both starting to lean in but retracted just as quickly when Nate walked in, already changed into his pajamas.

"Hey, uh... I just ordered the pizzas. They should be here soon. Flower, you uh-- you want some pj's?"

"No, I got her."

Tristan answered Nate before I could even process the question. I looked at him then back at Nate, smiling shyly.

"It's very blue and grey very... you."

"Thanks?"

I laughed, shaking my head as I leaned back on Tristan's bed, taking a look around his room as he grabbed me something to wear.

He turned back to see me sitting on his bed and a crooked smile was on his face as he moved towards the bed.

He stared at me for a moment with a look on his face that I didn't recognize and after a few seconds, I couldn't handle the intensity of his gaze.

"What?"

"Nothing. I just-- I missed you..."

I bit my lips nervously before smiling up at the boy who still made my stomach do cartwheels.

"I missed you too."

He set the clothes he was holding in his hands into mine and when our fingers touched, I swear I felt a shock.

Tristan might've too, because he pulled his hands back, raking one through his curly blonde hair.

"I'll uh... I'll see you downstairs Bun."
