Angelica had regained her strength, but there were still tensions between her and Jack. They'd walk around for hours without having a full conversation. Jack tried to catch her occasionally, but she seemed to know her way around better than he did.
He was starting to get annoyed at her secrecy and finally saw her.
"Angelica!" He yelled and ran towards her.
She looked around for a quick escape, but there were none.
"Angelica, why can't you just tell me what you want?" He asked.
"Because I don't know what I want, Jack." She said as tears clung to her eyes.
"You've got to figure that out then." Jack stated matter-of-factly.
Angelica looked down and back up at him with pleading eyes.
Jack sighed. "I'm going to my ship for a while, I'll be back in a few hours. It'd be nice if you to have a decision made by then."
Angelica stood dumbfounded at his dominance. "Alright." She choked out.
Jack looked at her longingly and walked out the door, taking one last look before he closed it
She let the tears fall and then wiped them away. She looked around the house.
Why did I ever buy this? She asked herself.
The house was only a reminder of depressing memories and Angelica decided otherwise than to stay.
"Jackie," She called. "We're staying at a friends house." She informed and gathered her belongings.
---------------------------------------------

Angelica rung the bell and a French couple answered.
"Angelica!" The woman squealed and hugged her friend around the neck. "And.. Kids?"
"It is a long story, Bretta, but may I stay here for a few days? The children too of course."
"Of course, as long as you need!" She ushered them inside.
"Good after noon, Miss Teach." Bretta's husband, Benedict, greeted.
She was deciding on wether to correct him but then she had to.
"You're still a Teach with these two?" Bretta covered her mouth.
"Actually no, that was the long story." Angelica blushed.
"Of course, Benedict show the children to their rooms." The lady ordered and drug Angelica into the garden. "Speak."
"Well I met someone and we got married and had a child and then- Could I get some wine?" Angelica said it all quickly to avoid the tears that were inevitable in the end.
Bretta smiled at knowing her friend well and went off to get two bottles. She handed one to Angelica and they sat under a tree.
Angelica popped the cork and immediately sipped a large bit of it.
"Who is this 'someone'?" Bretta giggled.
"You won't like him." Angelica shook her head.
"I don't have much of a choice on who you're with these days."
"Captain Jack Sparrow." Angelica said as the tears began to obey to gravity's command.
Bretta's jaw dropped.
"I know, I know, but I love him!" Angelica exclaimed.
"I guess true love is a powerful thing." Bretta acknowledged.
"I don't think for much longer." Angelica looked sadly to the ground.
Bretta gave her a confused look and Angelica explained everything.
Afterward, Bretta stayed silent for a long and uncomfortable amount of time.
"Well, Angelica, I do say we should hold a ball tonight, lighten the mood." Bretta suggested.
Angelica nodded and walked with her friend inside.
---------------------------------------------

"Oh, Angie, you look beautiful!" Bretta gasped as she saw her friend in a deep purple gown.
"Thank you, Bretta, for everything." Angelica hugged her.
"Don't ruin you hair, darling!" Bretta fretted over the tight up-do.
Angelica gave a small laugh.
"Shall we?" Bretta offered a hand, which Angelica took, and the two women glided downstairs to join the party.
Angelica accepted a few dance requests from some men, but never put her heart into it. No matter how hard she tried, that was reserved for one man.
Jackie and Seraphina danced and laughed on the floor while Angelica only watched the fun. She still could not bring herself to forgive her love.
"Angelica!" She heard a man's voice a few yards away. She looked and saw Jack standing, looking hurt.
"Why weren't you at home?" He came over to her.
"It made me upset." She told the truth.
"Well have you made the decision?" He asked anxiously.
"I think I have." She looked at the floor sadly.
Jack's face fell at seeing her sadness, telling him his answer immediately. "O-oh." He said quietly and eventually was able to nod and manage a sad smile. "Goodbye, Angelica."
"Jack," She shook her head.
He looked down to hide his misty eyes. "I love you, Angel. Remember that, love." He sighed and walked off.
Angelica let her tears fall and was oblivious to the suspicious men entering and making their way over to her.
Suddenly the lights went out and everyone screamed. A sharp pain in her stomach and on her head caused her to drop to the ground and the lights snapped back on, although to an unconscious Angelica, they'd stayed off.
