Angelica woke up to a bright light and an unfamiliar face above her.
"She's waking up!" A man's voice yelled.
Angelica looked around and, even though it was blurry, could make out that she was chained to a stone wall in a room with various weapons and poisons and torture devices.
"Ah, so the pretty lady has decided to wake up from her nap." A much bigger man came in and grabbed her face.
"What do you want from me?" She spat.
The man put pressure on her stomach causing Angelica to scream in pain. She looked down and saw a bloody mess that the man was pushing on.
"What did you do to me!?" She gasped.
"Just gave you a little scratch." He smirked.
Angelica looked down at her gaping wound.
"What do you want?" She asked again.
"Where is the Hillford family treasure located?" He grinned.
"I don't live there, I'm just a guest!" Angelica panicked.
"Liar!" The man yelled and signaled to his men, who grabbed a rusty metal pole and plunged it into her wound. Everything got blurry and hazy in her eyes but a bucket of cold water was thrown on her before she could fall asleep.
"I don't know where it is!" Angelica yelled and broke down into tears.
"Oh don't cry, pretty lady, all you have to do it tell us where." The big man came up and forced her to look at his ugly face. Angelica bit down hard on his hand and made him bleed.
"She's not going to talk, do what you want with her." The man wiped the blood off his hand and slapped her. Angelica fell unconscious as she saw many blurry men coming towards her.

Angelica woke up the second day with her dress tattered, her hair a mess, and many new bloody cuts.
She was losing blood fast, which meant nothing but losing time to the kidnappers.
"Good morning, my pretty." The fat man came and pulled up a chair. "It'd be so much easier if you talked."
"I do not live there I tell you the truth!" She added some of her accent for proof.
"Ah a Spaniard. If we can't get you to talk maybe we can use you for ransom, but you have a French dress, so you must be familiar enough with the family to know where the treasure is." The man demanded.
"I was close friends with Bretta Hillton." Angelica told the truth.
"The wife of Benedict Hillton. This going somewhere." The man grinned again. "how long have you known her?"
"3 years." Angelica answered again truthfully.
"Where does she hide the fortune?" He asked eagerly.
"I don't know."
"You must know! You've known her for 3 years!" The man yelled and broke a bottle.
He picked up a shard and came over to her. "You know glass is like lies. You avoid it, you regret it most of the time, and if you place it right," he placed the glass by her neck. "It's deadly."
Angelica breathed hard but the man took the glass away and only cut her wrist.
The man left and Angelica was alone, weakly dying.
"Help." She tried to scream but it was a whispered.
