"What are you thinking?!" Her father scolded as soon as he shut the door.
"Father, I love him," She spat back.
"Well you better if you have his child!" He exclaimed.
"You don't understand, he's not like the other men you've asked me to seduce and bring to you. He's different." She sat down and looked at the shiny silver ring on her finger.
"You're too naive, my child." He sat down as well. "I don't approve of this."
"In my opinion, it's too late for you're approval." She stood up to him for the first time, leaving a bewildered expression on his face.
"You prove my point, he has turned you into some arrogant creature." He glared.
"He has done nothing to me!" She stood up and yelled with tears in her eyes.
"Oh but he has, he impregnated you. Its a miracle he didn't run off as soon as he realized it too." Her father growled.
"He didn't because he loves me!!" She said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Then what is the matter?" He looked up at her.
"All of what you said should be true.." She sat down. "I don't understand why it's not."
"It's a possibility that someone has ordered him to do to you what you did to him." Her father offered and rolled his eyes at Angelica's blank face. "Someone has told him to seduce you, gain your absolute trust, and bring you to them." He said with hand motions.
Angelica fell back in her chair and covered her mouth. "He wouldn't."
"What would stop him?" Her father smirked evilly.
"Love.." She answered, but her tone showed that she was questioning herself.

Angelica walked back to her cabin slowly and sadly. Does he love me? She asked herself as more tears flowed.
She walked into her room and saw a drunk Jack passed out on the floor.
She sighed and walked over him but he grabbed her ankle.
"I think we have some unfinished business." He smirked at her.
"Not tonight, Jack, not with you drunk." She freed her ankle and walked to her bed.
"Touchy much?" He said as he crawled to the bed and climbed up.
Angelica ignored him and turned her back.
"You know you can't resist me." He whispered in her ear.
"If expect that to come from a man who is seducing me for my trust!!" She tried to scream but it was weakened by her tears.
Jack looked confused, but quickly regained his flirty attitude. "something troubles you?" He asked.
Angelica shook her head, not in denial, but at Jack's state, drunk, almost incapacitated.
"Try asking that when you will remember my answer." She rolled over and cried herself to sleep.
