Angelica woke up the next morning feeling grateful that she hadn't slept in the wooden prison. Sherman got up sleepily from the couch, he had let Angelica take the bed.

"Morning, did you sleep alright miss?" Sherman asked.

"Yes, thank you for letting me stay here, Sherman." She bowed slightly to be polite, then feeling awkward about it. "I should be going, there's probably some people who are-" Angelica then stopped herself. How is anyone worried if no one has come looking? she questioned herself. "Never mind" Angelica said cheerfully. "Mind if I stay a bit longer?" Angelica said in the sweetest tone she could manage.

"What about your..." Sherman motioned to her stomach.

"I still have a couple months, I hope" She said the last part softly.

"Who's is it?" Sherman said sitting on his couch.

"I know who the father is, I'm just not sure who he is to me." Angelica sighed and sat next to him. Sherman contemplated putting his arm around her, but decided not. Angelica began to cry and Sherman became awkward. He finally succeeded in putting his arm around her. Angelica threw herself into him, burying her face in his shirt.

She finally pulled away, eyes red and puffy with eyeliner stains running down. "I don't even know who loves me anymore." She dropped her head.

Sherman stood up, looking down at her. "Angelica, listen to me. You are beautiful and anyone would be lucky to have you. I bet there are lots of people who love you, maybe you don't even know it." Sherman held her hands, he smiled slightly and so did Angelica.
