Jack shoved open the door in a huff with a small mint for his unreasonable partner.
"I've got the bloody- where are you?" Jack stopped in his tracks.
Angelica came stumbling out of the bathroom and grabbed the candy. "Thank you," She smiled.
"You're still queasy?" He asked.
"Just a minute ago, now I'm fine," She smiled.
"One more day, then I'm calling someone." Jack warned.
"What if-"
"Angel."
"Fine," She sighed.
"Thank you," Jack kissed her forehead as she studied the mint.
"Did you want to eat it?" He questioned.
"I did, but I don't now," She handed it to him and rolled over in the bed.
Jack strangled her in his mind behind her back and sighed in annoyance. He gave up and laid back in bed with her. He rolled over, threw his arm across her waist, and buried his face in her hair.
"You're impossible," He groaned.
"Yet you still love me," Angelica reached back and played with his beard before yawning. Jack grinned and chuckled.
"Nothing could stop me." He kissed her cheek. Angelica relaxed into his chest and soon drifted off to sleep, leaving Jack awake to stare at his sleeping beauty.

Angelica awoke the next morning and, again, rushed to the bathroom. Luckily Jack was not awake to worry, so she cleaned and left no evidence for him to find when he did wake.
"Morning, An-" Jack stopped when his hand only felt sheets. "Not again," He groaned.
"I'm right here," Angelica giggled from behind him.
Jack rolled over and sleepily smiled up at her lively face. "There you are, love."
Angelica knelt down and ran her fingertips through his chin stubble as his eyes rolled back in his head. His hand stopped hers and she laughed. She leant up to his face and planted a light kiss on his lips.
Jack's face pouted and for a moment and she thought he'd discovered her morning activity, but he put her question to end when he grabbed her face and returned it to his lips.
"That's better," Jack smirked, "you can't leave a man unsatisfied, you know. Not after what you started."
"What? An innocent little kiss?" She played her fingers on his chest.
"Nothing about you is innocent, Darling." Jack's eyes turned darker and he smirked more mischievously.
Angelica giggled and swatted at his beard once more before stepping away from the bed and heading for the door.
"Wait! Where do you think you're going?" Jack lazily bounced up from the bed and scrambled after her, standing between her and the door.
"Breakfast," She said and smiled.
"What did I just tell you about leaving a man hanging!" He waved his hands in the air.
"I didn't start anything though," She played.
"Yes you did!" Jack screeched. "And you're finishing it." He grabbed her wrist but she pulled away.
"Jack, I'm hungry," She giggled and whined.
Jack sighed, "Eat quickly," He ordered and pulled her to the kitchen. He set her on a stool and put a cereal-color mush in front of her.
She sniffed the air and turned up her nose. "I'm not even sure this is meant to be eaten."
"If you're hungry enough to refuse then you're not hungry," Jack started to pull her back to his cabin when she pulled away with exceptional force.
"Stop pulling me everywhere like a puppet!" She yelled.
Jack was silent and stood dumbfounded at both her strength and her dominance. She huffed and fetched an apple from the cabinet.
After she finished, she started towards Jack's cabin and he trailed behind her. Outside the door, she stopped and turned around to face Jack. "I'm taking a nap," She informed.
Jack's jaw dropped. "You can't do this to me, woman!" He begged.
"I can and I will," she said sternly.
"Please, Angelica," Jack embraced her and put his head on her shoulder.
Angelica sighed and Jack smiled, but only until he heard her answer: "I will let you take a nap with me, but that is it, Jack."
"Why don't you just ask me to kiss you with my hands tied behind my back," He mumbled.
"You're only giving me ideas," She chuckled as she led him through the door. She walked strait over to the bed and made up her pillows.
"Are you joining me, then?" She asked as she got in bed.
Jack grunted under his breath and crawled in next to Angelica, who only smiled triumphantly.
"I love you, Jack." She cooed and turned her face into his chest. She breathed in and breathed in the sea. Jack always smelled like the ocean: rum and salt water.
"Love you too, Angel," Jack admitted and put his arm over her, his hand ending in her hair.
She scooted closer to him, if that was possible, and folded her hands up near his chest. She soon fell asleep, again in her love's embrace.
