Chapter 78

Jackie opened his eyes as soon as the sun came in his window. He gasped when he saw Seraphina sitting on his desk, staring at his wall-mounted map.
"Sorry." She apologized, "Did I startle you? I just really love this one." She said as she traced the frame.
"No it's fine." The boy said as he got out of bed. "I like it too. It's in a language that no one can read." He said as he came up behind her.
"I can read it." She said, turning around to face him.
"That's... Impossible." His mouth gaped.
The girl shrugged. "Nothing's impossible."
Jackie grabbed her shoulders. "Do you know what this means?!"
He waited for a response but none came.
"We could find the treasure." He told her.
"Oh! Yes I was also thinking that." she blushed.
Jackie smirked. "You don't always have to be right you know. You are pretty amazing to be able to read that though." he complimented.
The girl blushed and rubbed her arm.
"I'm serious. You really are amazing. You kicked your dad, if I kicked my dad I would be bleeding." He joked.
"Yea, that doesn't happen often. He just controls my life." She sighed angrily.
The boy sat on the bed and the girl followed.
"Well, that's over now. Probably for the better, he basically tried to kill you." Jackie said.
"All thanks to you. I owe you." She bowed.
"You don't owe me anything." he said.
"Yes I do." She insisted.
The boy thought. "Fine, you can pay me back right now." He grabbed her chin and kissed her.
Seraphina's eyes went wide, but then relaxed and closed.
5 minutes passed before either one of them dared to get up. Finally the boy pulled away.
"There...we are even." he said in a deep voice.
The girl looked back into his eyes.
They both just gazed at each other, their noses millimeters apart.
"I guess so.." Seraphina finally broke the silence and slowly pulled her head back.
"So about the map." Jackie got up and changed the subject.
"Yes the map..." Seraphina agreed, but, when Jackie wasn't looking, touched her lips and smiled at the sweet moment that they would both remember no matter what subject took its place.

Angelica yawned and stretched her arms out. She opened her eyes and tried to sit up, but failed. Jack's arm was tightly fastened around her unclothed waist.
"Jack." She whispered.
Jack grunted and hugged her tighter.
Angelica rolled her eyes and pushed herself away from him, no luck.
"Please?" She played his flirtatious game. "I'll be back later."
"No you won't. Remember yesterday?" He said.
"Well.." She thought but no words came.
"For once you don't have a comeback. No insult? Nothing? Mark the date." He chuckled.
"Shut up you."
"And she's back." Jack continued.
He finally opened his eyes and picked Angelica up to move her closer to him.
Angelica squirmed against his grasp so Jack rolled them over so that she was on top of him and couldn't move.
"I feel like a puppet around you." She spat.
"Good." He stared.
"My eyes are up here." She yelled.
"I know." Jack said and smiled, showing some gold and silver teeth while continuing to look at her bare chest.
They both fell silent as they heard footsteps rapidly approach the door.
"JACK!!" Gibbs yelled on the other side.
"Yes, Master Gibbs?" Jack yelled back.
"We got company captain." He replied.
"Could you handle it? I'm sort of in the middle of something." He said giving Angelica a toothy grin.
"He'll be-" Angelica tried to reply but Jack covered her mouth. Angelica bit his hand so Jack pushed her head down on his chest, once again stopping words from escaping her pouty lips.
"Gimme a minute." Jack grumbled.
He pushed Angelica off of him and quickly got into his clothes.
Angelica wrapped the covers around her and sat up. "And where are my clothes?" She put on a seductive grin.
"You'll find them soon enough." Jack returned her smirk.
"But wouldn't it be easier for you to just tell me?" Angelica walked up to him and purred as she lowered her covers to expose more of her breast.
"What's the fun in that?" Jack grabbed her waist.
"Less fun for you." She said, pulling her covers back up.
Jack sighed. "In the rum drawer." He tried to pull down her covers as his reward but Angelica was too fast and walked over to the drawer.
"Love you." She teased as she walked with her clothes into the bathroom.
Jack walked toward the bathroom door to follow her but Gibbs shouted, reminding him of what he got up for in the first place.
"Coming!" Jack whined.
