A Pirate's love

Chapter 28

"Jack sparrow" a distant voice called. "Jack sparrow" another one a little closer. "JACK SPARROW!" said a voice so loud it have Jack a headache.

"Ugh what?" he said rubbing his head. As he opened his eyes, it seemed he was in a court room.

"Jack sparrow, sentenced by poison." The judge read.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jack asked confused.

"It's how you died." Whispered the man next to him, who was missing an arm. Jack scooted away from him.

"Wait, wait. You mean to tell me I'm dead?" Jack processed.

"Yes." the judge said calmly. Jack started breathing heavily.

"No... No I can't be dead. There's so much I need to do! and there's no rum here!!" Jack screeched backing away from the scene before him.

"Calm down, captain." The judge addressed. "If you are so worried then give me a moment to process a reason you should be given a second chance." Jack watched as the judge flipped through a binder full of papers. "Stole this, stole that, impregnigated a woman out of wedlock." The judge looked up at Jack disgusted. "You go back and you finish what you started you scoundrel." The judge snapped and Jack passed out.

"Jack?" Jack saw a hazy figure staring down at him. Jack cleared his vision and saw it was Angelica. Jack leapt up and embraced her.

"How long have I been out?" he asked, still not having stopped smiling.

"3 days." Angelica looked confused.

"And you stayed here?" Jack let go.

"Of course I did. I was just about to kill myself. I thought you were dead?" Angelica questioned.

"I was but they gave me a second chance." Jack smiled brighter.

"I didn't know they did that." Said Angelica chuckling.

"Angelica, I love you. You know I wouldn't leave you right?" Jack said holding her hands.

"Yes. I do now." Angelica said smiling at Jack, and then her mouth dropped. She looked down at Jack, who was on one knee.

"Angelica Teach, will you-" he didn't even have to say the rest. Angelica lunged herself at him,

"YES!" she screamed and hugged him so tight it hurt. Jack laughed and pulled away to put a glistening emerald ring on her finger.

"Now you have my word, I will never leave you." Jack smiled down at her.

"Oh great, a pirate's word. I feel so trusting." She said playfully.

"Then how bout this," Jack reached down and kissed her. Angelica kissed him back. Happy to have Jack, and soon be Mrs. Sparrow.

Working on another story that may or may not get published but taking a break cuz there's nowhere left to go that I can think of right now and because I'm busy.
