Angelica struggled against the ropes. "Let me go you evil man!" Angelica spat on his foot.

"Shut up. I never liked you, scum." The man insulted.

"Who are you?!?" Angelica asked, she was blindfolded and tied up.

The man pulled her blindfold off.

"Reginald?!" She screamed and backed away, he was the man her mother was married to when she was pregnant with Angelica. He hated her because Angelica was not his child.

"Shut up you wench. I will kill you just like I did your mother." He put a blade to her neck.

"You.... you killed my mother?" Angelica stammered.

"Yes. Now shut your big mouth unless you want to have the same death!" He kicked her in the gut and she cringed.

Angelica sniffed as tears flowed down her cheeks. "I will kill you. I will avenge mother." She whispered to herself. "why did you kidnap me?" Angelica asked to distract from the fact that am she was untieing her bonds.

"I need your blood, the daughter of Blackbeard." Angelica was cursed to have to be a crucial ingredient to many treasure legends.

Angelica, with her bonds off, subtly grabbed a log and held it above her head. He caught it before she conked him out.

"Feisty. Just like your mother." He muttered.

"What did you do with my family." Angelica glared. She had showed up at her house with the lights off. She walked in and immediately passed out. She woke up with her arms tied behind her back in the forest.

"They fleed before the war hit." He took out a dagger and led her to a small pool. "Sit." He commanded, she obeyed.

"Please, please don't do this." She knew he was going to spill her blood into the pool for the sacrifice that opens the waterfall.

"Shut up, whore." He put the dagger to her throat.

Angelica felt hot tears running down her face. She sniffed, waiting for it all to end. She never felt it. The dagger fell into the pond. Angelica stared as it sunk, out of sight. She slowly turned around and saw Jack, sheathing his sword. Standing over a dead Reginald.

"Jack!" Angelica smiled through her tears.

"Angelica what happened?" Jack held her shoulders.

"This man, he was married to my mother when she had me. He always hated me because I wasn't his. He tried to kill me, but it's ok, I was saved by the love of my life." Angelica threw herself into his arms.
