Jack yawned and stretched, and yelped when his hand felt something warm. He followed his hand to Angelica's back- he'd forgotten she was there. She moaned in annoyance at him waking her.
"What do you want, Sparrow?" She groaned and shifted herself in a more comfortable position.
"Forgot you were here, love. Makes for a nice surprise though," He said and rubbed her tan back where he'd poked her.
"I forgive you if you keep doing that." Angelica stretched and sighed in contentment.
Jack stopped, disappointing Angelica, and hugged her to his body instead.
"I missed you," He whispered as his mustache tickled her ear.
"I missed you too, Jack," Angelica smiled and rolled over. Jack brought her head up and teased her with a light kiss. He laughed at her pout after he did.
"Why do you tease me?" She pouted.
"It's fun," Jack shrugged and then kissed her more passionately. Angelica smiled at him granting her wish and then frowned when someone at the door interrupted them.
"Jack!" Gibbs called, "your son wants to talk to you."
Jack looked at Angelica with a torn face. After a moment of decision, he went back to kissing her. She unexpectedly pushed him away.
"Wrong choice. Go talk to him," Angelica told him. She watched as Jack hung his head as he crawled into some clothes and cursed as he walked out the door.
"What is it, boy?" Jack said as he lazily sat down at the dinner table with Jackie.
"Dad, I have a proposal to make," The boy started confidently, but then forgot his words.
"Spit it out!" Jack encouraged, eager to get back to his wife.
"I want to move away," The boy said.
"Where is away, son?" Jack chugged a bottle of rum.
"The Caribbean," He answered.
"Fine by me," Jack said.
Jackie's eyes went wide. "Really? Thank you, Dad!" He exclaimed.
"I will explain to your mother, but do not listen to her fretting," Jack warned.
"Will she not approve?" He inquired.
Jack waved him off. "Doesn't matter. She can't keep you here your whole life, and you need your space with your woman," Jack answered and strode back into his cabin, where Angelica was fidgeting with his compass while lounging on his side of the bed.
Jack smiled and plucked the trinket from her grasp.
"I do not believe this is yours," He smirked.
Angelica crossed her arms. "Pirates steal things. Most of what I own is not mine," She countered.
"I'll give you that one, love, but only because you're being enjoyable this morning." Jack leaned towards her and backed her down to the mattress. "Let's see how enjoyable you are."
"Didn't you already do that last night?" Angelica laughed.
"Things can change," Jack retorted.
Angelica chuckled, "You just can't keep your hands off of me."
"Also true," He admitted and kissed her neck. Angelica smiled and closed her eyes. A few seconds later, Jack heard her ask an inaudible question, but he ignored her and sucked her neck.
"Jack?" Angelia tried to pull him away and get an answer, but to no avail.
"JACK!" She said loudly in his ear. He popped up and grabbed his ear, accidentally diving his face into her chest.
"Sorry, love," He muffled through the sheets covering her breasts.
"What did Jackie want?" Angelica asked curiously.
"That is a conversation for later," Jack said and tugged at her sheets, but Angelica grabbed his hand.
"What did he want? I want to know."
Jack sighed and rolled his eyes, "yes, you will know, later."
"Now," Angelica demanded.
"No," Jack refused.
"Yes."
"Later."
"Why?" She asked, worry in her voice now. " What's happening?"
Jack softened at seeing her upset. "He has a request that you won't like, love," Jack started.
Angelica quirked a brow.
"He is leaving the ship to live on land," Jack said quietly.
"He's WHAT?!" Angelica screeched. She jumped up from under Jack, dressed, and rushed out to deck.
"You're not leaving!" Angelica pointed at her son.
"Don't listen to her!" Jack came running after her, holding her back.
"Mom, I'm sorry. I'm 18, I need to have some freedom," Jackie said shyly.
Angelica sighed. "I forget you're older now," She rubbed his cheek. "Take the girl with you."
"I wouldn't leave without her," Jackie smiled.
"We'll be there in two days, son," Jack informed. Jackie nodded and smiled at his mother.
"I'll be safe," He said.
"I'd expect nothing less," She sighed.
"Are you sure you're alright with this?" Jackie asked, getting negative hand signals from Jack.
"Son, I'll never be alright with letting you go." Angelica embraced him and Jack awkwardly watched.
After a while, Jack put his hand on Angelica's shoulder and she pulled away from Jackie.
"Are you jealous?" She smirked.
"Just a touch, darling," Jack charmed her and she hugged him too. Jackie smile at them and wandered away.
"You're in a very affectionate mood, I must say," Jack noted.
"I've felt strange today, not myself," She shrugged.
Jack furrowed his brows and rubbed her back. "Do you feel alright?"
"Fine for the most part, maybe a little queasy," Angelica answered.
Jack led her back to the cabin and sat her on the bed.
"I'm fine."
"You'll say that now and tomorrow you'll be dead. I've seen it before, some illnesses you don't see coming," Jack protested as he checked her.
"I'm perfectly alright, Jack," Angelica gently pushed him away.
"I don't want to lose you again. I never want to lose you again," Jack said all at once and hugged Angelica tightly. Taken aback, Angelica was silent.
"As do I," She said after a moment of silence.
