Chapter 102

Angelica, Jack, and Adonis walked out of the bolt into large stone corridor.
"Alright, just this way." Coaxed Adonis as the trio walked past a series of less than friendly looking doors.
"I want you to stay safe. Don't worry about me, you go when you can." Jack whispered to Angelica.
"I'm not leaving without you." Angelica insisted with hard eyes, but they softened as she received a pleading look from Jack. "I can't." She finished.
"Angelica.." Jack begged her.
"Jack, I won't. I couldn't live with myself." She whispered to him.
"Alright, I understand." Jack lowered his head.
"Jack." Angelica whispered, a more upbeat tone.
"Yes?" Jack said sadly.
"Come with me." Angelica grabbed his hand and started to walk the opposite way as Adonis while looking over her shoulder worriedly.
As soon as she turned her head round, Adonis materialized in front of them.
"Going somewhere?" He put his two fingers under Angelica's chin.
"Anywhere but here." She said with cold eyes.
"Why so quick to leave, little lady?" He stepped closer to her as she stepped back.
Angelic didn't dare answer but kept her hard stare.
As Adonis backed Angelica into a cold, hard stone wall, Jack tackled him down on the ground.
"Stay away from her!" He yelled.
Adonis evaporated from under Jack and reappeared on top of him, his foot on Jack's chest. "It's like you want me to kill you." He laughed.
"You said yourself that you couldn't." Jack challenged.
"I am not supposed to kill you. There is a big difference, Jack. And I want you to always remember that if your death is an accident.... well you're not stupid." Adonis gave an evil grin.
"Stop!" Angelica knelt down to Jack.
"Love... It's such a pitiful thing." Adonis grimaced and lead the group through the corridor to a door similar to the others.
"Here it is." He put a hand on Jack's back.
Jack walked inside and Adonis slammed the door shut and locked it behind him. "Have fun." He smiled.
"Jack!" Angelica ran to the bars of the door.
"She'll be safe with me." Adonis warned Jack.
"No one is ever safe with you, you sick man." Jack glared through the bars.
"With that attitude you may not get your love back." Adonis grabbed Angelica's shirt and drug her away.
"I will find you!" Jack yelled to her.

Adonis drug Angelica to an extravagant door which he opened, revealing an extravagant bedroom.
He threw her into the room and slammed the door shut as he had done to Jack.
"Why are you doing this?" Angelica sobbed.
"Oh stop crying." Adonis said in a soothing voice and wiped her cheek.
Angelica responded by slapping him hard across the face.
Adonis touched his cheek. "Now that wasn't nice." His eyes went dark and his posture grew more intimidating.
Angelica started slowly walking backwards, away from the angered man.
Adonis quickly walked towards her and, once he was arms length away from her, he slapped her hard across the face.
Angelica fell to the floor as tears and fear blurred her eyes. The last thing she saw was a hazy Adonis hovering over her and getting very close, then darkness...
