Barbossa arrived back at the cabin with Joshamee Gibbs, who immediately started tending to Jack.
"I need to talk to you, Angelica." Barbossa pulled her to the side.
"Yes?" Angelica sniffed.
"I may have lost the map, and we may be in dangerous waters." He rubbed the back of his neck and awkwardly laughed.
"Ok." Angelica said as she stared at Jack.
"You didn't hear a word I said." He scoffed.
"Ok." She answered again.
Barbossa walked off, head steaming. She sobbed as Gibbs checked his heart and pulse.
"He's fine, just slipped into a coma somehow. May have something to do with this black mark. Keep an eye on him. Do you need anything?" He put his hand on her shoulder.
"Could you just stay for company?" Angelica said as she gazed at Jack.
"Of course." Gibbs answered.
"He's so peaceful." She smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek.
Gibbs fell silent as Angelica painfully watched Jack.
She started to walk over to the bed when Gibbs stopped her.
"We don't know if it's contagious." He warned.
"I'll take my chances." She sighed and pulled away walking to his side.
"Please wake up Jack." She whispered. "I need you, we need you." She held his hand. "I love you." She said as a single tear fell on Jack's face.
She reached down and planted a gentle kiss on his lips, then she let go of his hand and walked over to the love seat that Gibbs sat on.
"You ok?" Gibbs asked her, looking up from his book.
"Yea." She lied.
"He'll be fine." He also lied.
Angelica looked up at him with sad teary eyes, looking at him for any reassurance, searching through his soul.
She dropped her head at her findings.
Gibbs patted her shoulder awkwardly.
Angelica attacked him in a hug and cried on his shoulder, while Gibbs hesitantly hugged her back.
He let go after a few seconds but Angelica didn't.
After 2 minutes, Angelica finally let go and wiped her eyes.
"I'm sorry." She said.
"S'okay." Gibbs waved it off and inspected his soaking wet shoulder.
"What're you doing with my wife?" Croaked a weak voice.
"Jack!!" Angelica bolted for the bed.
"Hey there, angel." He looked up at her lovingly.
Angelica had no words, she just rubbed his cheek.
"What've you been doing while I've been in the slim layer between life and death." He asked jokingly.
"Waiting right here for you to wake up." She answered.
Jack smiled, then he touched his lips.
"Am I wearing lipstick?" He said as he inspected his pink fingers.
"That's my fault." Angelica laughed. "You looked so cute, I couldn't resist."
"Putting lipstick on me?" He quirked a brow.
"Kissing you." She laughed.
"Oh, well thank you, but I think it would be more pleasurable for both of us if both parties were alive." He said and pulled her down to his lips.
Jack kissed her for several seconds and then pulled away. "I was right." He gave a toothy grin.
"Aren't you always." She said sarcastically. "Are you well enough to get up?" She asked.
"Are you strong enough to support me?" He asked in return.
"Possibly." She answered.
"Then I am possibly well enough to get up." He smiled.
"You just came out of a coma and you're as witty as ever." She rolled her eyes playfully.
"You can't get rid of Captain Jack Sparrow." He laughed as he pushed himself up.
Angelica put one arm under his to support him as he put that arm around her shoulders.
"Ready?" Angelica asked him.
"As I'll ever be." He shook his head and started to walk, wincing as he did.
"Are you ok?" Angelica asked concerningly.
"It's not that bad." He grunted.
They eventually made it to deck where everyone gathered to see their Captain, alive and well.
"Everyone calm down!" Jack screamed. No results.
Not until a large yellow lighting bolt came down and hit the ship, making it rumble, but not crumble.
A dark figure walked out of the bolt and over to Jack and Angelica.
"Good day, miss." He offered his hand to Angelica.
"One, I'm not a miss. And two, who are you?" She hissed and put her other arm around Jack.
"My apologies." He ignored her question and bowed, but it was obviously not sincere.
"You, sir, are coming with me." The figure grabbed Jack's arm and tried to drag him away.
"No! Why?" Angelica grabbed his other arm.
"Because he is the chosen one. He survived the mark." The figure explained.
"Well, he stays here." Angelica demanded.
"A stubborn thing you are, maybe I'll take you instead." He released Jack's arm and walked over to Angelica, touching her shoulder gently.
When he removed his hand, there was a small black mark in it's place.
Angelica gasped and released Jack's arm to get it off, making Jack fall.
Another crew member caught him before he reached the floor.
"What are you?!" Angelica asked the figure.
"Name is Adonis. I like that name, Angelica, It has power." He smirked at her.
"I never told you my name." She hissed.
"No need. Anyone that comes from up there" He pointed skyward, "Knows all." He reached out his hand again, which she declined.
"Oh what's wrong, honey." He laughed.
Angelica glared at him.
"We've enjoyed your visit, Adonis is it? But you're not welcome on our ship and neither one of us are going with you." She huffed.
"Then he has to die." He pointed to Jack.
"No!" She ran and stood in front of Jack.
"Move aside, sweetness." He cooed and transformed into an extremely handsome man.
Angelica nearly wilted to her knees and Adonis gently moved her to his side.
"That's more like it. Now everyone go back to work, nothing to see here." He demanded the crew, and all others who dared to join the lump of humans watching the scene before them.
"Dad are you ok?" Jackie said as he pushed through the people.
"Fine, where is your little lady?" Asked Jack.
"She heard a crash and was determined to stay inside the cabin." He explained. "What was that by the- Who's this?" Jackie pointed to the handsome man.
Adonis smiled and offered a hand. "Nice to meet you too."
Jackie hesitantly raised his hand aswell, but Angelica, after shaking off the charm Adonis had used on her, stood in front of Jackie.
"You don't want any part of this, son. Please just go back with Seraphina." She whispered to him.
Jackie hesitantly walked away, confusedly glaring at Adonis.
Angelica turned around to watch Jackie go, and, as soon as he was out of sight, felt Adonis' hand's creep up on her lower back and travel downward.
"HEY!" She slapped his hands away.
"It's not nice to hit people." He laughed.
"It's not nice to steal people's wives." Jack said as he walked over to Angelica.
"I could kill you right here, right now." Adonis took Angelica by the shoulders, picked her up, and placed her behind him as he glared at Jack.
"Why don't you then?" Jack challenged.
"N-no. We'd be grateful if you didn't." Angelica spoke to Adonis.
"Is that a challenge?" Adonis raised a brow.
"It might be." Jack spat.
"Well your woman is in luck. I cannot kill you at the moment. We need you." He nodded and walked away, summoning a lighting bolt to come down to the ship.
"Come on, Mr. Sparrow." Adonis ushered.
"I'm coming too." Angelica ran after them.
"No you're not." Adonis held her back.
"Yes I am!" She pushed to get past him, but he was too strong.
"Fine, I might need the company." He let her go and smirked as she fell.
"You're sick." She hissed at him as she got up and walked through the bolt after Jack.
